ICYMI, the 2025 BRIT Awards is taking place in London tonight, Saturday, 1 March. It's a continuation of awards szn that has so far consisted of the SAG Awards, BAFTAs, Critics Choice Awards and the Golden Globes, but given the ceremony recognises the best in British and international music over the past twelve months, you can expect to see *plenty* of your fave home-grown artists and celebs. Sure, Sabrina Carpenter is in attendance, but so is Jade, Maya Jama, Vick Hope, Millie Bobby Brown and Maura Higgins, to name just a few of our fave A-List faces spotted on the red carpet.
Plus, proving Brat summer winter is still going strong: Charli XCX also showed up at this years Brits. And she did so while looking effortlessly cool as per usual – wearing a gauzy black naked dress complete with a hooded veil. Obsessed.
Oozing gothic glamour, the dress featured a nude corset with exposed boning beneath the see-through black fabric. FYI, the waspie and teeny tiny black thong were Charli's only undergarments as she went braless in the naked dress to totally free the nip.
Here's a closer look at her glam:
On top of collecting the honorary Songwriter of the Year award at the BRITs, Charli's nominated in five categories, including Album of the Year and British Artist of the Year. She responded to her nominations last month on Instagram writing, “tysm for the brit noms i don’t really get how you vote so don’t worry about it ! remix vinyl pre order tomorrow!”
The awards had barely started before Charli was ushered to the stage to collect the first prize presented during the evening which ‘Guess’, her duet with Billie Eilish, won for Song of the Year. Congrats, Charli!
She also won big at the 2025 Grammys, taking home the award for Best Dance Pop Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Recording Package. In a prerecorded interview for the show, Charli said, “I think the reason relate to this record is people wanted to be a little bit messy and own the imperfect parts of themselves, perhaps some people kinda saw that in me.”
