Gather round Black Doves hive, Keira Knightley just arrived at the 2025 Golden Globes in a jaw-dropping dress. In a look best described as perfect or flawless (take your pick), Keira stepped onto the red carpet wearing a black velvet gown that was the epitome of more is more. We're talking a sequin embellished bodice, a black ribbon bow adorning her chest *and* an empire waist feathered peplum hem.

The dreamy design was finished with a floating lacquered jersey skirt that gently billowed around her which, under the flashing lights of the paparazzi cameras, took on an almost metallic hue. Keeping the focus on her dress, Keira ditched all accessories save for some pretty major-looking rings complementing a chic black manicure. Even her beauty look was minimal, with her brown tresses styled in a sleek, straight bob that finished just below her chin.

To see her dress in action, check out this cute little interview from the red carpet:

According to Vogue, the dress was inspired by Look 36 from the French fashion house’s autumn/winter 2024 couture collection and took 300 hours to make as the bodice was embroidered with 23,000 crystals, rhinestones and sequins, finished off with a pleated silk peplum and feathers beneath the bust.

Keira was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Drama for her role in the Netflix spy thriller. Unfortunately, she lost out to Anna Sawai for Shōgun. No worries, as we're crowning her one of our best dressed from the evening.

Keira spoke about her nomination on Today, saying, “I mean it was rather amazing. I literally landed from London, got the text message, and was like ‘Oh! Look at me! Hello! Thank you!’” She added that she called her mum first, saying, “It’s still my mum. She was like, ‘Oh that’s exciting, what are you gonna wear? Who’s gonna look after the children’ I was like ‘...you are!’”

Everyone's clicking on...

She also chatted about getting back into action after 18 years, saying, “I really stayed in my body, I found it quite easy, I was suddenly like, ‘oh yeah I remember how to do this, this is great.’ I did quite a lot of fight training.”

Genuinely can’t wait for Black Doves season 2.
