ICYMI: Katy Perry has launched a new era - and we're kinda obsessed. Her sixth album is dropping this summer and to celebrate, the singer has debuted a new look which is nothing short of iconic.
Need a refresher? So far, she's turned up topless and in nothing but a faux fur coat, ripped low-rise tights and sunglasses to fashion week, rocked an archival Noir Kei Ninomiya black leather cut-out dress to model at Vogue World in Paris, posed in a crochet bikini and muscular metal legs (??) and even a red mini dress featuring a mega train emblazoned with the lyrics to her forthcoming single "Woman's World".
And, yes, she's back at it. With this week coinciding with the 4th of July, aka American Independence Day, Katy celebrated the national holiday with a sexy af look shared to Instagram. Specifically, she rocked a strappy, diamanté bodysuit (or bikini...or swimsuit...we will never know) that featured two star-shaped nipple pasties emblazoned with the stars and stripes of the American flag.
She finished the look with a pair of denim jeans, a red polka dot head scarf and a pair of silver work tool-themed earrings in a reference to the iconic Rosie the Riveter figure who was used to represent the women who worked in factories during World War II.
The best bit? She shared the image with a caption referencing her 2010 smash hit 'Firework' with the lyrics "BB UR A FIREWORK".
Iconic.
