If you thought (read: hoped) that the celebrity-loved "no trousers" trend had been left behind with the end of 2023, then we're sorry to say that you're sorely mistaken. One of the most controversial fashion looks of the past year is not only sticking around for 2024, but becoming more ubiquitous than ever.

Well, it becomes *very* clear that a trend has serious staying power when even the more conservative, low-risk dressers start embracing it as well... Case in point: Anne Hathaway, who ditched her trousers for a tights, boots and shirt look recently. And next on the list to start stepping out in pants and little else? Gen Z, ofc! Not only are they always up for something new (and the more out-there, the better tbh), but they'll also inevitably be following in the footsteps of their fave influencer, Addison Rae.

Yep, whatever Addison does, goes – so if she poses sans trousers on Insta, you can bet that her 36 million followers will soon be following suit...

Never one to do things by halves, Addison not only posed for a pic without any trousers on, but in a just a see-through bodysuit, tights and baker boy hat to boot! Firstly, we love her bold dedication to the "no trousers" cause – but secondly, we can't stop laughing at the people sat at a table behind her looking rather shocked at the whole scene. Well, that's exactly the effect the trend is supposed to have, tbh!

Addison's fans, as ever, flooded the comments section of her post with compliments:

"Chicago broadway debut when"
"MOTHER🔥"
"this is giving lady gaga yesss"
"it’s called mothering."

Cue half of Gen Z ditching their trousers and dutifully following suit... We can't wait to see it!
