As the hotly anticipated release of Marvel's Madame Web draws ever closer (the film hits UK cinemas on Feb 14th, btw!), the film's stars have been taking their press tour looks up a few notches – and we're loving every second. Not only are the protagonists two of our biggest style crushes of all time (errrr, Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson, hello!), but they've also joined forces to ensure their red-carpet 'fits are co-ordinated to perfection. And did we mention totally on-theme, too?
After a few days of doing press in New York wearing Madame Web-worthy all-black 'fits with the occasional hint of red, Dakota Johnson attended the film's premiere in Los Angeles last night in a *major* naked dress that looked almost exactly like a spider's web – and co-star Sydney Sweeney followed suit. The result? One of the sexiest red carpet twinning moments we've seen in years...
Dakota opted for plunging custom crystal-encrusted Gucci gown that was totally see-through, and from afar made it look like she was completely naked underneath. Upon closer inspection, however, it seems it was just a clever styling trick: the actor was in fact wearing a nude-coloured bodysuit, but the overall effect was no less epic.
Sydney also chose a spider-themed naked look, wearing a custom Oscar De La Renta nude-and-black gown featuring a sheer boned corset covered in intricate black web beading. It couldn't be further from the dusty ballerina-pink, bow-covered mini-dress she just wore for her Galentine's celebrations... Now that's what we call method dressing done right!
