A paparazzi-hating tween, TikTok darling and front-row regular, North West is continuing her sartorial education, recently snapped wearing a surprising matching outfit with mum, Kim Kardashian. Known for her eclectic, self-chosen 'fits, the 10-year-old has an individual sense of style to rival those thrice her age – not to mention an extensive (and spenny) skincare routine.
Despite repeatedly declaring "no pictures" when faced with the hundreds of cameras her family has to deal with, North is frequently papped travelling around the world, often with her bestie and cousin Penelope Disick in tow.
Most recently, she was snapped with Kim at home in Los Angeles, the two preparing to attend aunt Kourtney Kardashian Barker's Disney-themed baby shower.
In an homage to Minnie Mouse, the duo sported black platform shoes, black skirts (of a leather or pleather variety), and a neon sweater-esque t-shirt accented with black piping. A slight diversion from North's baggy denim and oversized blazer, rugby shirt or t-shirt aesthetic, the combination proved a subtle nod to the theme without being OTT. No stranger to a fit-check, the two posed happily for Kim's Instagram story.
The baby shower, which was held at Kourtney's house in Los Angeles, featured Disney-themed everything – from mouse-shaped butter pats to Alice In Wonderland green juice shots. The work of Kardashian-favourite event planner Mindy Weiss, the home had been transformed to celebrate 'Baby Barker'.
Kourtney, probably the biggest Disney stan amongst the bunch, wore a snakeskin co-ord and sweet pair of Mickey ears to celebrate the imminent arrival of her bundle of joy.
The Kardashian's love for everything Disney has been well-documented, with frequent trips to Disneyland and dedicated Halloween costumes shared on their shows and via social media. Now, their eponymous show, The Kardashians, streams exclusively on Disney+ streaming services, underlining the family's fondness for all things Walt D.
