Remember the fall out from the is-it-blue-is-it-gold dress? Well, a new dress is dominating conversations on social media, and it's all thanks to Emma Watson.
Emma took to Instagram yesterday to share a series of photos in collaboration with Renais spirits. But, the gravity-defying dress Emma's wearing in one of the snaps is all her fans can talk about.
"Someone make the dress make sense pls," one fan said of the angular, powder blue dress that Emma is wearing. "This dress is defying physics," another confused fan commented, with a third chiming in with: "The dress looks like it's floating. I'm trying to understand."
"The dress said wingardium leviosa," someone else added, referencing Emma's iconic Harry Potter line, as another agreed with: "This is the most Hogwarty dress ever."
Per the tags on Emma's post, the dress in question is from Loewe. And, a quick scroll on Loewe's Instagram account confirms that, with the dress first making an appearance on Pose star Indya Moore at the women's Fall/Winter 2023 runway show.
Clearly, we aren't the only ones doing our homework, as one fan commented on Loewe's photo of Indya: "Anyone here to cross reference what Emma Watson was wearing??" To that, someone jokingly replied that they still can't work out how the gravity-defying dress is staying in place. "Me too, but still don't really get it!"
Any thoughts?
