The leather jacket is a wardrobe staple for a reason - it's timeless and versatile. You can shrug it on over a glam evening dress for a fun high-low vibe, or you can team it with a pair of your fave jeans for a chic off-duty look. But Dua Lipa's just gone and shown us another way to wear the leather MVP.
ICYMI, Dua is currently hanging out with designer Simon Porte Jacquemus in Mexico City and, unsurprisingly, the pics are muy fabulosa. In Dua's latest Instagram post, the artist reps a series of cool trans-seasonal outfits, including a leather suit and a very fun spin on the corset top trend.
Now, if you cast your mind back to July, you might remember that the 27-year-old wore a camo print corset with a statement cut out detail, so the fitted, strapless design is clearly having a 'moment' in the Levitating artist's wardrobe right now. And we can totally see why.
Dua's new post, captioned "🖤 CDMX 🖤 girls tripppppp", shows the singer wearing a leather corset complete with hardware zips we're used to seeing on jackets, positioned in the place of boning. The look is then accessorised with a pair of rectangular-framed sunglasses and minimalist silver hoops.

Everyone's clicking on...
Dua and Jacquemus have an enviably cool friendship, with Dua making headlines at the Jacquemus' wedding to Marco Maestri last month by arriving wearing a see-through white dress.
Of course, this wasn't any fashion faux pas. No sir, Dua's look was from the Simon's namesake brand, so the chances are it was already pre-approved by the designer well in advance.
