I think we can all agree that Dua Lipa's holiday wardrobe is enviably cool. From itsy bitsy bikinis to dreamy mermaid dresses, the artist continues to rep incredible looks on repeat. One word I wouldn't usually associate with her clothes, though, is 'confusing'. That is, until now. Dua just took to Instagram to share pics of her latest outfit and, while chic, it also has me kinda puzzled. Like, what am I actually looking at right now? Let me explain.
Dua's currently on holiday in Albania, where her parents are from. In the pics, Dua sits on a beautiful patio featuring a huge pool, set against a dreamy, scenic backdrop. At first glance, her outfit appears to be a classic little black dress, or LBD (a go-to celebrity staple also sported by Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian in recent weeks).
But, when you take a closer look, you can spot a button smack bang in the middle of the neckline. The top of the dress features belt loops, while the cups around the bust also look like repurposed pockets. Basically, the dress is either an upcycled skirt, or has been designed to look like one, with two thin straps attached at the top. Iiiiinteresting, right?
Dua teams the piece with a gold hardware shoulder bag slung over her shoulder, no jewellery and a sleek ponytail revealing her bare-faced beauty look.

Basically, I'm still none the wiser as to what I'm actually looking at here (dress? skirt? who knows?) but I don't even care - that is the power of Dua Lipa.
