Kim Kardashian looks like a raindrop queen at the 2019 Met Gala

The Met Gala 2019 red carpet was an impressive one, but did anyone look as good as Kim Kardashian? I think not.

The 38-year-old wore a Mugler dress that apparently took eight months to make, but my god was it worth it. The gown looks as though it's dripping in sparkly raindrops, and we've never seen anything quite like it. Paired with stunning makeup and wet-look hair, I'm calling it: this might actually be the best Kim Kardashian look of all time.

“This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler. So to come and design this gown for me is such an honour,” Kardashian West told Vogue on the red carpet. “This is about eight months in the making … He envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping.”

Nailed. It.

However, while it looks incredible, Kim admitted that the dress isn't the most comfortable. Duh.

“Once we’re all at the top of the carpet we can all take a deep breath," she said. “I don’t know if I can in this corset. I honestly had to do practice. It’s a proper corset by Mr Pearl. I never had one like this, it is insane.”

It's okay though; apparently she has "doughnuts waiting" tomorrow. And for now, she gets to look that good.
