Polka dots are *still* trending, people, and we couldn't be happier about it. Thanks to its versatility, the playful and chic aesthetic has been used in some of our favourite pieces this year, from slinky drape tops to lace trim slips.
Now, one of our fave high street brands, Mango, has released its own take on the pattern: a pair of super cute balloon jeans that not only utilise polka dots so well, but also nail three trends in one. (Can we get a round of applause here, pls?)
Yep, pattern aside (we'll get to the star of the show in a minute), the jeans come in a luxury chocolate brown, which is one of the major colours this spring. Seriously, earth tones literally scream the winter to warmer transition — they provide fresh, organic vibes that feel connected to the outdoors, and are perfect for those who love a calming, natural aesthetic.
Next, the balloon leg, barrel-style fit is another nod to the trends of the season. Incredibly flattering and sophisticated, they provide an elegant element to any outfit. Just look at how the jeans are styled on the model — the cream, oversized parka and wedge strip sandals give ultimate Saturday afternoons with the girls in London. Plus, because the polka dots are the main event, it means that the rest of the outfit can be understated and cool. Let the pattern do the talking; everything else should just complement the jeans.
As for sizes and pricing, the jeans — which also feature a regular waist, long design, zip and button fastening and belt loops — won't break the bank. Coming in at £49.99 (it's a pretty reasonable cost for such a good quality pair), they're available in sizes 4 through to 18.
Catch us in these alllllll spring!
