The colour blue is *everywhere* right now, whether on Spring/Summer 2026 runways or the high street. From Next's £12.50 cobalt blue top that screams maximalism to this stunning embroidered jacket perfect for the winter to spring transition, it's clearly the colour of the season.

Now, H&M has joined the club, releasing this statement scarf detail shirt — which inadvertently has nailed two trends in one. Opting for a pale blue shade over the bolder Mediterranean vibe (this shirt is giving more Amalfi Coast than Santorini), the piece also features an in-built scarf. Last winter, this layered look dominated our wardrobes with plenty of knit fits, but now, it's proving that it belongs in our closets all year round.

Currently, the shirt is available for £20, so really, there's no excuse not to add it to your basket. (Note: this is for a limited time, and only available to H&M members — without the 20% discount, it comes in at £24.99. Which, in our opinion, is still a bargain.)

It's also available in sizes extra small through to large; it's unique fit perfect for all body types. In terms of the style and materials, it's a cotton weave with a collar and buttons down the front. The back features a yoke with a box pleat, has gently dropped shoulders, and long tapered sleeves. Final detailings include buttoned cuffs and, of course, the scarf, which is designed to be tied around the waist, creating a draped effect.

As for styling, the shirt is the statement piece here, so the remainder of the outfit should be subtle. This means a pair of blue jeans (you can also purchase the barrel trousers worn by the model for £20 with the discount), and either a pair of trainers, or, if you're feeling a little more indie, some Dr. Martens.

Catch us wearing this fit for drinks with the girls next weekend.
