Julia Fox made one heck of a fashion statement at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars after party last night. The IT girl boldly took to the carpet in a completely nude sheer dress that freed the nipple - hot off the heels of Charli XCX's iconic Brits look over the weekend.
But the naked look wasn't the only unique element of the gown, which also featured a subtle back train that hung loose behind Julia's shoulders. The dress was complete with locks of brown hair styled in mermaid waves, which partially covered her breasts, crotch, and was weaved around her thighs. Perhaps an alternative nod to Julia's 2023 Gay Times cover shoot, where she wore a gown made entirely of hair?
The statement look was accompanied by a creative hair choice. Julia ditched her signature bleached blonde for a deep brown shade, and styled her long, thick tresses in messy, partially complete plaits that blended into the rest of her outfit. She also donned a brunette fringe parted in the middle.
Julia's makeup matched the tones of the outfit, too. The 35-year-old went for a nude lip, a touch of blush and bleached brows - a look that she has rocked many times before. But in terms of this fit, it was giving major sci-fi vibes, and we are so here for it.
Vanity Fair posted a video of Julia posing in the gown, and naturally, people went wild. From dubbing her a "Venus goddess" to "It's giving birth of Venus meets lady Godiva," others said it gave them folklore feels.
