What to buy in Pandora's Black Friday sale?
Um, charms, duh! But also Christmas pressies and cutesy gifts for yourself (because you deserve a treat too). Check out what's on Cosmo's shopping list:
Why buy from Pandora this Black Friday?
Pandora is the biggest (that's a fact) and one of the best jewellery brands out there (in our opinion). Not only are its designs beaut, but the Danish company is constantly innovating and working towards a more sustainable future.
In 2023, Pandora announced its promise to reduce its climate footprint and pledge to be carbon neutral by 2025; and by then it will also use only recycled gold and silver in its jewellery. In 2021, the brand also launched its first-ever lab-grown diamond collection.
While achieving all of this, Pandora still manages to be pretty good value for money – and it's even better when Black Friday rolls around, of course.
Does Pandora take part in Black Friday?
Hell, yes! The jewellery brand has taken part for the past five years. Even the pandemic and subsequent store closures of 2020 didn't stop the brand from putting on a mega discounting event.
When is Pandora's Black Friday sale in 2024?
Black Friday always falls on the last weekend of November which, this year, is the 29th. From our experience, shopping Black Friday clothing deals – which yes, includes jewellery – is a little less stressful than negotiating the beauty and bedding offerings, because there's less of a panic.
Pandora usually kicks off Black Friday very early to give shoppers longer to decide on their purchases. For 2024, the sale officially started on Monday (November 18), a whole four days early exclusively for Pandora Club members.
What even is Black Friday?
Black Friday has been going on in the United States for decades. Like, since way back in the '80s. It used to be a one-day all-or-nothing event causing *major* panic. And because it took place in physical stores IRL, it was rowdy AF with physical fights often breaking out.
Having made its way across the pond to the UK in recent years and largely taking place online (2020 saw a completely virtual Black Friday thanks to the pandemic store closures), nowadays things are a little more civilised.
When we're planning on doing all our Christmas shopping for our entire family on Black Friday, that's music to our ears.
Does Pandora take part in Cyber Monday?
Technically, yes. Although don't expect anything different on Monday – usually fashion brands just extend their Black Friday deals, and that's exactly what Pandora did last year.
How much is Pandora Black Friday delivery?
If you're planning on doing your Black Friday shopping online, delivery is an important consideration. Pandora charges £2.99 for standard delivery and it's hella speedy: your order will be with you in 2-4 days. If you need it immediately (we're not judging), opt for the Next Day Delivery priced at £5.99.
We recommend drawing up a wishlist now so you don't do multiple orders on the big day. Not only is that additional cash you don't want to part with, it's not great for your carbon footprint, ppl!
What is the Pandora Club?
This is Pandora's membership option that is totally free to join. All it requires is an email address. There are many perks for members, including free delivery year-round and early access to sales. For instance, last year, anyone who registered before Black Friday was able to shop the deals a whole four days early.
