The story follows Devon, an older sister genuinely concerned about how work is taking over her younger sister Simone's life. Simone is working her dream job as a personal assistant to philanthropist and animal activist Michaela Kell, who runs local high society from her lavish island state.
But Michaela seems to have an unusual, all-consuming power over everyone around her, which is why Devon wants to take Simone and get the hell out.
This is definitely one wild beach weekend you won't want to miss.

Julianne Moore as Michaela Kell
Beyond being a billionaire's wife, Michaela Kell has made a name for herself as a former attorney, and now philanthropist, socialite, and animal activist. She has an enigmatic presence that draws people in and has them worshipping at her feet. It definitely seems like she's hiding something underneath her designer clothes and put-together image.
Julianne Moore is an Academy Award-winning actress who is most famous for her roles in Still Alice, The Hours, Boogie Nights, May December, and more.

Milly Alcock as Simone DeWitt
Simone is Michaela's trusty, sharp, and charming personal assistant who wants nothing more but to please her boss. If that means removing a matching sister tattoo, she'll do it. She worships the ground her dear "Kiki" walks on, and prioritizes her needs above anyone else's - including her father who has recently been diagnosed with early-onset dementia. Her relationship with work and her employer is definitely too close for comfort.
You might recognise Milly Alcock from her breakout role as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO's House of the Dragon. The Australian actress is also set to star as Supergirl in the upcoming movie Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which is supposed to hit theaters in 2026.

Meghann Fahy as Devon DeWitt
The resemblance might not be as apparent given how unkempt and rough around the edges she is, but Devon is definitely Simone's older sister. She's a hot mess and it seems like her life's been on a downward spiral. It doesn't help that her sister isn't around to help care for their dad during his time of need. But even though she feels betrayed, Devon is fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect her loved ones. Even if it means dragging them off an island.

Kevin Bacon as Peter Kell
Peter Kell is Michaela's billionaire husband. He comes from old money, has a successful securities firm, and is one of the most influential people in American high society - all of which definitely helps boost his wife's image and funds their lifestyle. Unlike his wife, he's a lot more laidback and likes to enjoy the occasional joint.
The iconic Kevin Bacon is hard to miss. The actor has been a Hollywood darling ever since starring role in the 1984 classic Footloose. Since then, he's gotten roles in over 100 other movies and TV series, including MaXXXine.

Glenn Howerton as Ethan Corbin
Ethan Corbin is the Kells' dear friend and next door neighbor. He's a lifelong bachelor whose expensive hobbies are funded by a trust fund that he's quickly burning through.

Felix Solis as Jose
If Michaela has Simone, Peter has Jose. He's the billionaire's right-hand man and manager of Cliff House. Jose handles everything from security and surveillance, to driving and gardening.

Josh Segarra as Raymond
Raymond is Devon's longtime, on-and-off, toxic boyfriend from high school. He works as a manager of a restaurant chain in their hometown of Buffalo, NY.
If you've been watching Abbott Elementary, then you've probably seen Josh Segarra in his recurring role as Manny Castillo who works at The School District of Philadelphia. Segarra has also starred in other film and TV projects including Scream VI.

Bill Camp as Bruce DeWitt
Bruce DeWitt is Devon and Simone's father. He's a proud and tough Navy veteran, and hates the idea of becoming a burden to his daughters as his dementia becomes worse.
Bill Camp is an American actor who's had roles in thriller series such as Zero Day, Presumed Innocent, and The Night Of. You might also know him as Mr. Shaibel from The Queen's Gambit.
