The six-part series started on ITV last night (19th January) and tells the story of a farmer who tries to protect his teenage son and local community from a county lines drug operation. The series is packed with British talent and this is everything you need to know about the cast and where you recognise them.
Martin Clunes as Nathan Williams
Martin Clunes takes on the main role of the series as Nathan Williams. Nathan is a farmer, and recent widower, mourning the death of his wife, while also looking after his teenage son Johnny.
You'll most likely know from Clunes from his role as Doc Martin in the series of the same name. He's also had main roles in Men Behaving Badly and William and Mary.
Louis Ashbourne Serkis as Johnny Williams
Playing Nathan's young son Johnny is Louis Ashbourne Serkis. Johnny finds himself caught up in county drug line wars.
Louis is 20 years old and is the son of actors Andy Serkis and Lorraine Ashbourne. Louis began acting in 2012 and is best known for his role The Kid Who Would Be King. He's also had roles in The Queen's Gambit, Endeavour and No Return.
Mark Lewis Jones as Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams is Nathan's brother and the pair are currently stuck in an ongoing feud. He's played by Mark Lewis Jones who you'll best know from his roles in shows such as Outlander, Baby Reindeer, Gangs of London, Chernobyl, and many more.
Natalia Kostrzewa as Eva
Eva works as a cleaner and comes to work for Nathan, after her previous employer, who was Nathan's neighbour died.
She's played by Natalia Kostrzewa who you'll most likely recognise for her role in Netflix's Fool Me Once as the nanny.
Carly-Sophia Davies as Sadie
Sadie is one of Johnny's friends at school and she's played by Carly-Sophia Davies.
Carly-Sophia has been acting since 2022 and had roles in Midsommer Murders and a number of short movies.
Gerran Howell as Rhys
Rhys is Sadie's brother and is Johnny's connection to the drug world taking over the countryside.
He's played by Gerran Howell, who you might know best from his role in the CBBC series Young Dracula. Since his CBBC days he's also appeared in 1917, Catch-22 and Emerald City.
Josef Altin as Kenny
Kenny is a drug dealer who gets Rhys involved in the drug operation. Kenny is played by Josef Altin who you'll most likely recognise from his role as Pypar in Game of Thrones. He's also had roles in Top Boy, Harlots, Unforgotten and Misfits, amongst many others.
Michael Obiora as Scott Foley
Scott Foley is a mysterious character who turns up in the village, supposedly on a holiday.
Michael Obiora is playing the role of Scott and you will probably know him best for his roles in Luther, Sexy Beast and Hotel Babylon.
Eiry Thomas as PC Jane Crowther
Jane is a police officer and she's got some history with Nathan. She's played by Eiry Thomas, who has been acting since the 1990s and is best known for her roles in The Bench, Stella, and Keeping Faith.
Silas Carson as Ersin Turuk
Ersin is a drug lord and in charge of the operation that comes into the village.
Silas Carson plays the role of Ersin and is best known for his roles in the Star Wars movies and Phantom Thread. He's also been the voice of the Ood in Doctor Who over the years. Silas is also known for his roles in Trust, The Casual Vacancy and many more.
