The Gathering on Netflix: Here's where you recognise the cast from
The Channel 4 thriller has just been added to Netflix
We love a good thriller series, and last year Channel 4's released one of their best yet - The Gathering which has now been added onto Netflix and is already creeping up the Top 10.
Set in Merseyside, the series explores what happens after a young woman, Kelly, is attacked at an illegal beach rave. Kelly is straddling two different worlds, one in which she is on her way to become a Team GB gymnast, and the other where she hangs out with a group of urban free-runners, who are at odds with the disciplined life of being a gymnast, while she comes to terms with the death of her mother.
The series stars a bunch of actors making their on-screen debuts, as well as some TV favourites completing the cast. If you haven't watched the series yet this is your sign to and everything you need to know about the cast.
Eva Morgan as Kelly
Who is Kelly?: Kelly is the lead character in The Gathering and is a gymnast on her way to getting into Team GB. Afetr losing her mother she founds comfort in a group of free-runners.
What else has Eve Morgan been in?: Kelly is played by Eva Morgan, and this is her on-screen debut.
Warren Brown as Paul
Who is Paul?: Paul is Kelly's father and works as a groundskeeper for the local council, and is struggling to look after his two children after his wife's death.
What else has Warren Brown been in?: Warren is a former World Thai Boxing Champion and has been acting since the early 2000s. He's perhaps best known for his role in Luther as DS Ripley alongside Idris Elba. He's also recently starred in the BBC series The Responder and also known for his role alongside Stephen Graham in Occupation.
Sadie Soverall as Jessica
Who is Jessica?: Jessica is a gymnast alongside Kelly, and she struggles to live up to her mother's high expectations.
What else has Sadie Soverall been in?: Jessica is portrayed by Sadie Soverall, who you'll perhaps best recognise from her role as Annabel in Saltburn or Fate: The Winx Saga where she played Beatrix. She's also appeared in Arcadian and Little Bone Lodge.
Vinette Robinson as Natalie
Who is Natalie?: Natalie is Jessica's single mum, and she runs her own PR Agency.
What else has Vinette Robinson been in?: Natalie is played by Vinette Robinson, who has been acting since the late 90s. Over the years Natalie has appeared in classic British shows such as Sherlock, Waterloo Road, Doctor Who, Vera and many more.
Ryan Quarmby as Charlie
Who is Charlie?: Charlie is a boxer attending private school and hiding his sexuality from his father.
What else has Ryan Quarmby been in?: Charlie is played by Ryan Quarmby who most recently appeared in an episode of Call The Midwife and a number of episodes of The Last Kingdom.
Richard Coyle as Jules
Who is Jules?: Jules is a lawyer and the father of Charlie, and puts a lot of pressure on his son.
What else has Richard Coyle been in?: Jules is portrayed by Richard Coyle who has previously starred in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore as Aberforth Dumbledore, the 2000s series Coupling and the Netflix series the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
Sonny Walker as Adam
Who is Adam?: Adam is a free-runner, and aspiring DJ who lives with his father, and spends a lot of time looking after his half-brother.
What else has Sonny Walker been in?: Adam is portrayed by Sonny Walker who has previously appeared in Doctor Who and in The Responder alongside fellow cast member Warren Brown.
Luca Kamleh-Chapman as Bazi
Who is Bazi?: Bazi is a Syrian refugee and a free-runner who begins a relationship with Kelly.
What else has Luca Kamleh-Chapman been in?: Bazi is played by Luca Kamleh-Chapman and this is first on screen appearance.
