A good film is nothing without a great soundtrack. Seriously, the best movie soundtracks quite literally make the films they're in. Whether it's a feel-good playlist to make you feel like you're the main character of your own movie or a breakup album to mend your broken heart after watching a romance, we love 'em all.

But, some soundtracks are far greater than others, meaning they've earned a spot on our list of all-time favourites. So, with a mix of new, old, pop, punk and more, here is a list of the best movie soundtracks of all time.

We couldn't stop talking about this film when it came out, with Lady Gaga taking our breath away as singer-songwriter, Ally. Bradley Cooper wowed us all as musician Jackson Maine, too, and with a mix of country, blues and heartbreaking ballads, this soundtrack had to have a spot on our list.

This movie is up there with the classics, with the late musician Prince starring as the frontman of a struggling rock band. As you can imagine, the 1984 film is full of Prince's songs, making it a must-watch for any music fan.

Black Panther is one of the most-loved Marvel movies, starring the late Chadwick Boseman as the titular superhero. We couldn't stop listening to the soundtrack when it came out, with artists with Kendrick Lamar, SZA and Jorja Smith and many more blessing our ears.

We're not ashamed to admit how much we love The Twilight Saga soundtrack. The songs across the franchise take us right back to our teenage years where our only worry was whether we were Team Edward or Team Jacob. We still can't choose! Yep, 'SULA' is still in our vocabulary thanks to Wild Child starring Emma Roberts. The soundtrack for this 2000s classic has tonnes of British pop songs that make us want to move to an all-girls boarding school and fall in love with the headteacher's son, too. If only!
