3Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened
NetflixYou've probably heard of the Fyre Festival scam, but if you've not watched the documentary about it, it's on Netflix now.
Probably one of the most notorious scams ever, the doc follows conman Billy McFarland and his promise of putting on "the biggest event of the decade."
While, that was obviously not the case, the Netflix documentary tells you everything that happened, from the expensive promotional videos to the reality: a complete disaster.

Sour GrapesThis film was pretty huge when it came out back in 2016 and while it's one of the most fascinating true crime films we've ever seen, it's somehow a bit of a well kept secret.
Sour Grapes tells the story of wine fraudster (yes, such a thing exists) Rudy Kurniawan, who worked his way into prestigious US wine clubs and wealthy social circles before swindling his new found friends out of vast sums of money.
6Don't F**k With Cats
NetflixWho can forget this truly graphic and creepy story of a bunch of internet sleuths who got their detective heads on to catch cat killer Luka Magnotta? The film took a truly disturbing twist of events too, when it was found that he was also guilty of murdering university student Jun Lin.

NetflixInventing Anna has been highly anticipated amongst true crime and drama lovers. The series stars Ozark's Julia Garner as Anna Sorokin, a now famous con artist who lived a life of luxury by pretending she was a wealthy German heiress named Anna Delvey.
Scamming friends, banks, hotels, and NYC's elite between the years of 2013 and 2017, the show itself follows a journalist who investigates the story.
8Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal
NetflixBack in 2019, this college admissions scandal was as big as news could get. It saw Rick Singer, a former coach at Sacramento State getting the kids of the rich and famous into top American Universities. And obviously, not in the most legitimate way.
The scandal also saw actress Lori Loughlin serve a two-month prison sentence for her participation in the scam.
