1Great British Bake Off series 10 (2019) - David Atherton
Former international health adviser David ended up beating Alice Fevronia and Steph Blackwell to the top spot last year after impressing the judges with his showstopper and sturdy soufflé. Since winning, David's already released his first book - a children's cookbook - and has amassed more than 126k Instagram followers.
2Great British Bake Off series 9 (2018) - Rahul Mandal
After being crowned winner, Rahul returned to working at The University of Sheffield's Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre as an engineering researcher. However, he's still a keen baker and you can see lots of his unbelievable cakes and biscuits on his Instagram page.

3Great British Bake Off series 8 (2017) - Sophie Faldo
No doubt GBBO fans will remember when Prue Leith accidentally revealed Sophie's name online before it was officially announced on TV (cheers Prue!). The former British Army officer, who previously said she found the aftermath of the show tough, has since set up her own baking company called Sophie Faldo Couture Cakes. According to the website, she makes "luxury fine cakes and dessert tables". Sounds fancy.
4Great British Bake Off series 7 (2016) - Candice Brown
Ex PE teacher Candice blew the judges away with her stunning chocolate and sausage roll showstopper, beating fellow finalists Andrew Smyth and Jane Beedle. As well as running her pub in Bedfordshire, she released her first book in 2017 and has another one dropping next year. In 2018, Candice also enjoyed a brief stint on Dancing on Ice (she was first to get the axe).

5Great British Bake Off series 6 (2015) - Nadiya Hussain
What hasn't Nadiya done since winning series 6? She's hosted a number of her own shows, including The Chronicles of Nadiya, Nadiya's British Food Adventure and Nadiya's Family Favourites. She also co-presented The Big Family Cooking Showdown and has become a regular contributor on The One Show. As well as writing multiple books, she was named as one of the 500 most influential people in the UK in 2017. No big deal.
6Great British Bake Off series 5 (2014) - Nancy Birtwhistle
Nancy beat series favourite Richard Burr in the final after creating *that* red windmill masterpiece. Her book Sizzle and Drizzle, released in October 2019, features lots of the delicious cakes she's shared on her Instagram page since winning the series. According to her blog, she's now written more than 500 original recipes.

7Great British Bake Off series 4 (2013) - Frances Quinn
Frances impressed Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood with her three-tier wedding cake in the 2013 show finale. In 2015, she released her book Quinntessential Baking. She's also made a number of appearances on radio and TV and is an ambassador for the Cream Tea Society, which honestly sounds amazing.
8Great British Bake Off series 3 (2012) - John Whaite
John went on to bag himself a weekly slot on daytime chat show Lorraine and also starred as a presenter and judge on ITV cookery competition Chopping Block. As well as his TV appearances, he studied a diploma in Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in London and in 2015 he opened John Whaite's Kitchen Cookery School in Lancashire. On top of that, he's also released four cookery books.

9Great British Bake Off series 2 (2011) - Jo Wheatley
Since being crowned winner in 2011, Jo started her own cookery school from her home in Essex and has had two baking books published. Like the other winners, her Instagram feed is filled with pictures of lots of amazing creations.
10Great British Bake Off series 1 (2010) - Edd Kimber
After winning the show, Edd left his job as debt collector and pursued a full-time cooking career. As well as being the resident baker on The Alan Titchmarsh Show at one point, he's published four books: Say It With Cake, The Boy Who Bakes, Patisserie Made Simple and the most recent book, One Tin Bakes.
