Why do awards ceremonies always seem to bring out the awkward in celebs?
For some reason, award ceremonies always seem to bring out the awkward in so many celebrities. Take the Grammys for example. From Adele breaking her award moments after receiving it to Nick Jonas getting spinach stuck in his teeth, check out these painful moments from years gone by.
Adele in 2017
Adele somehow managed to break her Best Album award approximately six seconds after receiving it.
Drake in 2019
The rapper got his mic cut off halfway through his speech for Best Rap Song for 'God's Plan'... and fans weren't happy. The Grammys later said that it wasn't intentional and they thought he had wrapped his speech up. Hmm.
Taylor Swift in 2014
Remember when Taylor (and everyone around her) thought she'd won the Best Award with Red but she most definitely had not? Bummer.

Lewis was nominated for 'Someone You Love' in the Best Song category, and if losing out to Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy' wasn't bad enough, he was also mistaken for a seat warmer during the ceremony."
"A lady at the Grammys has just come up and offered to take my seat because she thought I was one of the people who sits in the chairs to fill them when someone gets up to use the bathroom #GRAMMYs," he tweeted to his 927k followers.
Pharrell in 2015
The 'Happy' singer tried to moonwalk off the stage. Turns out he can't moonwalk though.
