Netflix: The best new releases for June 2024

Another month means another batch of new Netflix releases we can't wait to binge-watch. Whether you’re waiting for the next episodes of your favourite show (Bridgerton, anyone?) or something brand new, there is something for everyone on Netflix this June.

From Rapman's new sci-fi drama, Supacell, to the Internet's boyfriend Glen Powell in Hit Man and more, the streaming platform's new releases are set to keep you entertained as we officially enter a new month and say hello to some warmer weather!

Sweet Tooth

Gus, Jepperd, Wendy and Bear are back for one final adventure as they head to Alaska, US for the third and final season of Sweet Tooth.

As Birdie tries to uncover the mysterious origins of the deadly Sick, Dr. Singh joins the hybrids on their trek, but can he be trusted? Plus, a new threat emerges that may spell trouble for our favourite half-human-half-animal friends.

Hit Man

Oh hey, Glen Powell. Inspired by an unbelievable true story, the Anyone But You star plays a strait-laced professor who discovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man.

Then, he meets his match in a client who steals his heart and sets off a high-stakes story of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities.

Bridgerton

Get your afternoon tea ready because the ton' is back for the second part of season three of Bridgerton. The first part left us wanting more after Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton finally confess their feelings for each other.

But, does Penelope say yes to his marriage proposal and does Colin find out that Penelope is, in fact, Lady Whistledown? We need to know!

Trigger Warning

Jessica Alba in an action movie? Sign us up! She stars as Special Forces commando Parker, who is working overseas when she learns her father has suddenly died.

A Family Affair

A big yes to Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King starring in new romantic comedy, A Family Affair.

The film sees a surprising romance kick off with major consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity. Exciting!

Supacell

Imagine waking up one day to find out that you can teleport, have super strength or can fly? Well, this sci-fi drama by Blue Story creator, Rapman, asks just that!

The six-part series follows a group of ordinary people from South London, who suddenly realise they are anything but when they unexpectedly develop superpowers. Then, one man must bring the group together to help save the love of his life. Can't wait!
