Love Island: All Stars may be over, but the drama definitely hasn’t stopped, especially for the couples who found romance in the villa. This season delivered no shortage of twists, turns and unexpected connections, with several relationships blossoming under the spotlight. But one couple we were particularly invested in? Leanne and Scott.
Their journey was far from plain sailing. Sher briefly coupled up with Scott and he also explored a connection with Belle, leaving fans questioning whether he and Leanne would make it. But the pair found their way back to each other and went on to reach the final, finishing in third place behind Millie and Zac and this year’s winners Samie and Ciaran.
Now that the cameras have stopped rolling, where do they stand - and are they still going strong? Here’s everything we know so far.
What happened with Leanne and Scott on Love Island?
Leanne and Scott were locked in from day two, after Scott strutted into the Love Island: All Stars villa as a bombshell and promptly stole her from Shaq. Although he’d been getting to know both Leanne and Belle, he ultimately decided he had more in common with Leanne and chose her at the recoupling - and just like that, a fan-fave pairing was born.
All seemed smooth sailing… until Villa USA entered the chat. Scott was whisked away to a brand-new villa packed with American bombshells and ended up sharing a kiss with Sher during a challenge, hinting there could be trouble ahead. After returning to the main villa and reuniting with Leanne, the drama didn’t stop there. Sher later stole him at the recoupling, leaving Leanne in a friendship couple with Jack. Scott admitted he wanted to explore both connections, prompting Leanne to call it quits. Then Belle realised she had feelings and started pulling Scott for chats (including a few trips to the secret garden), sparking major tension and a fiery clash involving Lucinda.
In the end, Scott decided his heart was still with Leanne and friend-zoned Belle for good. From there, he and Leanne cruised to the final - bar a few debates over exclusivity and his and Belle's ongoing beef. Scott wanted his family to meet Leanne before making things official, while Leanne didn’t quite see what the hold-up was, but despite the bumps, they made it all the way to finale night.
Are Love Island's Leanne and Scott still together?
It’s only been a few days since the Love Island: All Stars finale, so it’s still early days - but from the outside, things seem to be going well for Leanne and Scott.
Following their exit, the couple addressed doubts from viewers head on. Scott said: "We don’t need to prove it to anyone else. People question the way my brain works, that’s years of playing football and being told you can’t express your emotions and be mentally tough. You come into this and you've got to express your emotions. My sister is my safe space and now Leanne is my safe space as well, so she’ll be getting my more emotional side."
Leanne added: "I feel like we know how we feel about each other and everyone in the Villa could see our journey and how we feel, so they’ll see for themselves."
When it comes to making things official, Scott is "100%" sure he’ll be asking Leanne to be his girlfriend. While Leanne said there’s "no pressure", he explained: "Yes, 100% that moment I always wanted to make a moment for her. I don’t think you can make that moment in there. There’s much nicer things and much more meaningful things you can do on the outside."
During the finale, Scott also shared that he wanted his sister and niece to meet Leanne - and while it’s not clear if that meeting has happened just yet, he’s already had their approval.
In a sweet video posted to his Instagram Story, his young niece said: "Just to let you know you're my bestest, bestest friend in the whole entire world and I think you made the greatest choice in your whole entire life because your girlfriend is so beautiful. I can't explain to you how gorgeous she is." Honestly, we’re melting.
The couple are still following each other on Instagram, which is always a good sign, and they’ve even been talking about their first date plans. Asked what he’s most looking forward to, Scott said: "A first date and not dealing with opinions and doing what we want to do. I want to take her to Wales, Snowdon…we’re going to have to get past Leanne’s fear of heights."
Leanne added: "Our first date. And to just chill. Without everyone there, without mics and cameras, just chill together."
So while it’s still early days, it sounds like life outside the villa is suiting them just fine and this love story might just be getting started. We love to see it.
