If you're a Grantchester fan, you're likely counting down the hours until the series 10 finale, however, it appears you're going to have wait an extra day for the final episode, as it won't be on ITV1 tonight, and here's when you can expect to watch it.
Since the series kicked off its 10th season at the beginning of January, Grantchester has been airing every Wednesday and Thursday evening. The new series sees Alphy and Geordie continue solving crimes, while also dealing with a lot of goings on in their personal lives, including a potential new relationship for Alphy.
Across the seven episodes so far they've investigated a death at an Easter fete, a murder at a university and tried to discover what happened to a killed band member. This has all been gearing up for the series finale, which will set up for the 11th and final season which is likely due to come out next year.
The final episode will see the pair investigate the death of a fascist who was invited to speak to a university.
However, you'll have to wait a little while longer for the final episode as it's not airing on it's regularly scheduled Wednesday night. Last week ITV rearranged the schedule and replaced Grantchester with their new reality competition series The Summit, hosted by Ben Shephard.
The Summit aired on two consecutive evenings, Tuesday 10th February and Wednesday 11th February, meaning the seventh episode of Grantchester was pushed until Thursday 12th February.
And the same is happening again this week with The Summit airing two episodes across Tuesday and Wednesday, which means the Grantchester finale will air tomorrow night Thursday 19th February at 9pm instead.
However, if you're super impatient to watch the episode this evening, all eight episodes are available on ITVX.
Grantchester will be returning for one final season after tomorrow's finale episode. Last year it was confirmed the show would be ending with season 11.
