Set in a world where all men live under The Women’s Society Act, with a strict 7pm to 7am curfew and 24-hour ankle tag monitoring, this bold six-part series flips society on its head.
It’s a system designed to keep women safe. That is, until the unthinkable happens.
When a woman is found brutally murdered during curfew hours, her body left on the steps of the Women’s Safety Centre, determined police officer Pamela Green (played by Sarah Parish) dares to suggest the impossible: that a man could be responsible.

Sarah Parish as Pamela
Who is Pamela? Pamela Green is a no-nonsense, maverick Detective Inspector and seasoned police officer leading the murder investigation.

Mitchell Robertson as Eddie
Who is Eddie? Eddie is a rookie police officer shadowing Pamela.

Who is Sarah? Sarah works at a Women’s Safety Centre fitting ankle tags to enforce the nightly curfew, a role shaped by her determination and a deeply personal past trauma.

Alexandra Burke as Helen
Who is Helen? Helen is a local schoolteacher and outspoken supporter of the Women’s Safety Act, offering a powerful civilian perspective on life under the 7pm–7am curfew.
What else has Alexandra Burke been in? Best known for winning The X Factor in 2008, Alexandra Burke has gone on to star in major West End productions including The Bodyguard, Sister Act and Chicago. She also appeared in the film Pretty Red Dress, and reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
Lucy Benjamin as Sue
Who is Sue? Sue is the Detective Chief Investigator.
What else has Lucy Benjamin been in? The actress is best known for playing Lisa Fowler in EastEnders from 1998 - a role she has reprised several times over the years, most recently in 2023. Her other credits include Casualty, The Haunting of Ellie Rose and The Dumping Ground.
Bobby Brazier as James
Who is James? He is a young schoolboy activist campaigning to overturn the male curfew.
What else has Bobby Brazier been in? Bobby is the son of the late Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier. He’s best known for starring in EastEnders, which he joined in 2022, and for reaching the final of the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside his professional partner Dianne Buswell.
Phoebe Sparrow as Becki
