Season 15 of Death in Paradise is currently underway, with it all happening on the idyllic island of Saint Marie. The series began on Friday 29th January, with The War Between the Land and Sea star Catherine Garton joining the cast as Sergeant Mattie Fletcher.

The show typically airs on Friday nights, but if you were planning to tune in on Friday 13th February for the third episode, you may be disappointed - it won’t be on air and has been pulled from the schedule.

Here’s why, and exactly when the next episode will air so you don't miss a moment.

Why isn't Death in Paradise on tonight?

Death in Paradise won’t be airing tonight (Friday 13th February) due to Match of the Day Live: The FA Cup, which is scheduled from 7:30pm to 10pm. The match between Hull City and Chelsea kicks off at 7:45pm.

As a result, Death in Paradise, which usually airs at 9pm on BBC One, has been removed from Friday night’s TV schedule.

When will Death in Paradise episode 3 air?

The next episode of Death in Paradise will now air in a new slot on BBC One on Monday 16th February at 9pm. It will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer at the same time.

This marks the third episode of season 15 and sees the Royal Saint Marie Police tackle another baffling case.

The official synopsis reads: "Mervin and the team are left perplexed when a reclusive pensioner is shot dead in his home. A prime suspect soon emerges in the form of an unassuming accountant. The evidence appears damning - a figure matching the suspect’s description was seen fleeing the scene. And when questioned, there’s clearly something suspicious about him. The only problem? He has a rock-solid alibi."

"Meanwhile, the Commissioner is determined to win back the support of the islanders with a community-focused initiative. But tensions rise when Mervin goes rogue during the launch event."
