The Masked Singer UK has continued to deliver on the eccentricities this season, and whilst the costumes just keep getting crazier, so do the theories about who is actually under them.
With only five remaining celebrities, viewers have been speculating hard, and we are here to break down the best fan theories, as well as unpick all the clues we've been given so far.
Who is Moth on Masked Singer?
One Reddit user thinks Moth could be renowned singer Emilie Sandé, and some of the given clues certainly point in that direction. In clue packet 2, there was mention of 'Queen Bee', and this Reddit user stated that "In 2019 she [Emilie] performed with the Bee Vocal Choir at the Albert Hall". Not only this, but clue packet 3 spoke of blonde hair dye, which Emilie is known for having, especially in her peak.
Whilst this feels on the money, over on X, many other fans are sure it's Kiesha Buchanan from Sugababes. One person wrote: "Just catching up on #TheMaskedSingerUK and Moth is 1000000% the iconic @keisha_buchanan – and she’s not even giving it her all yet vocally either. I can see her winning already!”.
Someone else agreed, sharing: "As someone who grew up listening to the Sugababes: Moth is Keisha Buchanan #MaskedSingerUK." Others weighed in, saying: "Moth is 100% Keisha from Sugababes! #MaskedSingerUK," and "I have said from day one moth is Keisha from sugababes #maskedsingeruk."
Who is Sloth on Masked Singer?
In the latest episode, Sloth took on 'Tubthumbing' by Chumbawamba, which saw plenty of viewers debate over three specific names on YouTube: Joe Wicks, Jamie Oliver, and Sam Thompson. Right now, the latter is the celeb most people have their money on.
"Sam Thompson is 100% the sloth," one person penned, as another agreed: "I now think Sloth is Sam Thompson."
However, over on X, Sloth's latest performance has thrown several other names into the mix. From Ben Fogle (the more we listen, the more we hear it), to Josh Widdecombe, others think it could be James Corden or Chris Moyles.
Who is Can of Worms on Masked Singer?
Last week, Can of Worms sang 'Pure Imagination,' by Gene Wilder, and people continued to bet on Marvin Humes from JLS. Just listen to those smooth, silky tones!
"Can of worms more like can of dreams!!!!! 10/10 I loved him tonight!!!!!! I’m going Marvin Humes," one person penned, as another said: 'That’s so Marvin Humes!!!"
Let's recap: A plate of pastries in week one has had people speculating Can of Worms identity from the start. Are they a breakfast show host? Are they related to The Great British Bake Off? Do they just really like patisserie? Well, one Reddit user is convinced that it's Marvin Humes, because of his "Jamaican heritage, got married in the Maldives, four worms = each band mate. One even having glasses". He does sometimes appear on This Morning with wife Rochelle Humes too, which could be what the pastries relate to...
It's hard to ignore this fact, pointed out by another Reddit user, "Ones of the clues was a picture of Richard Hammond and James May and Marvin’s full name is Marvin Richard James Humes." Marvin? The games up.
Who is Conkers on Masked Singer?
Last week, Conkers sang 'History' by One Direction, and for the first time, the majority of people were convinced it was Ben Shepherd. While his name has been thrown around before, the latest performance cemented it for fans.
"Still thinking Conkers is Ben Shephard?" one person said on X, as another agreed: "I keep hearing Ben Shepherd singing when I’m in the kitchen cooking. Deffo Conkers #maskedsingeruk."
Previous to this, many fans believed Conkers to be a soap star, with one Reddit user (segamad66) saying, "Okay guys, I'm pretty certain after last night. It is the very wonderful Richard Fleeshman". They even listed all the potential well-fitting clues like, "All the Corrie clues - he was in Corrie in 2002. He's in Ghost, and the character he played was called Sam. He plays the piano, hence the keys." The list goes on!
However, the "ghosts don't scare me" clue from week one is still throwing a lot of people off, too. Maya Jama suggested it could be actor Kiell Smith-Bynoe, who has starred in Ghosts, while on X, other names included Olly Murs or Mark Owen.
Who is Toastie on Masked Singer?
Toastie took on the epic 'River Deep Mountain High' last week, and the judges (and fans) were obsessed with the performance, with many saying they deserve to win simply for *those* vocals.
While most viewers are certain it's a female, so many names have been guessed, from Mica Paris to Brenda Edwards. There was mention of Blackpool in one of Toastie's clues, so a lot of Strictly rumours have been floating around.
The judges speculated some other names, including professional singers Beverley Knight, Alexandra Burke, Chaka Khan, and Marisha Wallace. But really, it's still all to play for!
