Brooklyn Beckham has published a bombshell series of Instagram Stories about his parents David and Victoria Beckham, accusing them of 'controlling the narrative' and claiming he has no desire to reconcile with them. The Beckhams have not responded to the allegations at this time.
If you've been anywhere near the internet in the last 18 months, you'll know rumours about Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham falling out with his parents have been rife. And now, a series of Instagram Stories have been shared to Brooklyn's account - a seemingly detailed statement addressing the situation.
In six separate posts, which you can see on his Stories, Brooklyn's account said he felt he'd been left with "no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth." He went on to allege that the night before his wedding to Nicola in 2022, he was told she was "not family", claiming the couple had suffered "endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders."
He then said on the day, “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me," before alleging he had been "consistently disrespected by my family."
He then claimed his dad David had "refused all of our attempts" at quality time, "unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner."
Brooklyn alleged in summary, ""Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even it it’s at the expense of our professional obligations. We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family'."
So far, neither David or Victoria have responded to Brooklyn's allegations, but in the past, they have shut down any suggestion of a feud. In October 2025, Victoria told Zanna Roberts Rassi that it’s “so horrible” to read negative headlines about her family, adding "for me and David, the way we communicate with our children is so important."
She later said on Today With Jenna & Friends: "I’m so proud of all of the kids. They are kind. They work hard.”
Speaking back in 2023 to Cosmopolitan, Nicola also said: "I've said this so many times: There's no feud. I don't know. No one ever wants to write the nice things. It's really weird, actually, whether it's my life or someone else's life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong."
