We're just days away from The Traitors final, and while we've been busy thinking about who might win the show (and, how their game plan will play out), one player has seemingly just dropped a major spoiler that they already have.
As we know, The Traitors is filmed in advance and shown on TV later. That means the winner or winners have already won, but have been sworn to secrecy until the finale airs. Over on Instagram, however, Jack appears to have let the secret slip, revealing that he proposed to his girlfriend over the summer.
It's something he spoke about on the show this week, telling his fellow players about his engagement plans while discussing what he'd do with the prize money. "The last three or four years have been a real transformation in my life," Jack said at the dinner table in Friday's episode. "My girlfriend and I, obviously, as most people in the UK, struggle to get on the property ladder, so it would be nice to contribute towards the deposit."
Jack continued: "I want to be putting a ring on it in a few months' time. I've got a secret plan, the ring is already sorted, so it's a massive surprise."
This is something Jack previously mentioned before heading onto the show, too. "First and foremost, I'd use it as a deposit for a property for me and my girlfriend. It would be life changing for us," he said just before going into the Scottish castle where The Traitors is filmed.
"I also have secret plans, I'm planning to propose to my partner, so it'd be nice to spend a bit of money on that, maybe taking her out somewhere nice to celebrate," Jack went on.
Now, for the spoiler. A close look – and a scroll – through Instagram reveals that Jack did follow through on that plan back in the summer. "Greetings from Santorini!" he wrote in the caption of an Instagram carousel. "Just had the BEST week of my life with my new fiancée."
In the carousel, there are lots of photos of delicious Greek food and picturesque Santorini scenes, plus a photo of Jack and his wife-to-be with an engagement ring on her finger. Clearly, Jack popped the question, but did he use the prize money to do it? We'll have to keep tuning in to find out for sure...
