We've been glued to our screens with the latest series of BBC's The Traitors which kicked off on New Year's Day, with a brand new group of Faithfuls and Traitors all competing for their chance to walk away with £120,000. And while we in no means want the series to end anytime soon, the finale date has already been confirmed, and it's not too far away.

This season of The Traitors has been full of twists and unexpected turns as we've seen the introduction of a 'Secret Traitor' whose identity was a secret to both the Traitors and the audience. We've also seen the banishment of two Traitors and the Faithfuls get to come face to face with the Traitors!

So when does The Traitors end? Here's when you can expect to see the finale of The Traitors.

When is The Traitors season 4 finale?

The final episode of The Traitors will take place at the slightly later time of 8:30 pm on Friday 23rd January, as opposed to it usual 8pm start time. The episode will run for 75 minutes, as opposed to the usual 60 minutes.

The show will then be followed by an episode of the spin-off show The Traitors: Uncloaked, which will run for 45 minutes.

Whoever wins the show will join an elite winners circle, that includes season one's Faithful winners Aaron, Hannah and Meryl, season two's Traitor winner Harry and season three's Faithful winners Jake and Leanne.

What do we think will happen in The Traitors finale?

While we don't know who will make it to the final right now, we do have a general idea of what will happen in The Traitors finale.

Usually there is one final mission in which the remaining players have the chance to win a final amount of money to add to their prize pot. The maximum the prize pot can be is £120,000.

They will then have one final round table where they will then banish one more player, this is the last stage in the game when players will announce whether they are a Faithful or a Traitor.

After this the remaining players go to a fire pit with Claudia. When there they each must vote whether they want to end the game as they believe there are no more Traitors in the group, or carry on the game and choose to vote out another player. This continues until all players vote to end the game or there are just two players left.

If the remaining players are just Faithfuls they will split the money, but if there is a Traitor left they take all the money.
