We're just days away from the Strictly Come Dancing grand finale, and we cannot wait to see who will be crowned the winner of this year's glitterball trophy.
We are also full of anticipation to be reunited with the whole of this year's Strictly cast, as the rest of the celebrities will be returning to the show to cheer on the finalists and reflect on an incredible season. Well, all except one of this year's contestants as Thomas Skinner will be skipping the finale.
Former The Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner and his professional dance partner Amy Dowden were the first to be eliminated from this year's show after they lost the dance off to rugby player Chris Robshaw and his partner Nadiya Bychkova.
And now we won't be seeing Thomas dance again, as he has another commitment to attend to, according to a report in the Mirror.
Usually the cast all reunite to perform one last routine together as the 'Class Of' that year, however, we're still hoping his professional partner Amy will be able to join in the routine, but perhaps paired with another professional dancer who didn't have a celebrity partner this year.
Since leaving the show back in September, Thomas has expressed his regret about taking part in this year's season.
Writing on X in October, a few weeks after departing the show, Thomas wrote: "I wish I (had) never done Strictly, I never fitted the bill for that show let’s be honest. And it’s caused me nothing but agg.
"Constant abuse. All I f****** do is try to spread positivity online. I can’t walk anywhere without people knowing who I am.
"I’ve had a narrative spun against me so people always have an opinion on me now that they didn’t 3 months ago. I’ve heard so many lies said and told about me. It’s driving me mad."
Shortly after booking his place in Strictly, Thomas admitted to having previously cheated on his wife just weeks after their wedding back in 2022.
Thomas then also later apologised for snatching a journalist's' phone during the Strictly press conference ahead of the live shows.
Since speaking out about his regret for the show back in October, Thomas hasn't said much else about his time on Strictly.
The Strictly Come Dancing live finale will take place on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Saturday at 7pm
