After what has felt like an eternity Red Eye is coming back to our screens this evening for season two, the perfect way to kick off our New Year's viewing.
Detective Hana Li returns and this time she's not the one trying to solve a crime on the plane, instead she's on the ground investigating the murder of a US diplomatic courier which leads her straight to the US Embassy and its head of security, whom she has a tricky relationship with.
We're also reunited with head of MI5 Madeline Delaney who has a serious problem of her own this season. But with a new crime means a whole host of new cast members and potential suspects and we've got all the details you need to know on the new and returning cast of Red Eye season two below.

Who is Detective Hana Li?: Hana is the series lead and this time around she's gotten off the plane and is investigating a murder, albeit one that has taken place in the airport that leads her to the US Embassy.

Lesley Sharp as Madeline Delaney
Who is Madeleine Delaney?: Madeline is the head of MI5 and in this series she's the one stuck on the plane, and needs to rely on Hana to help get her out.
What else has Lesley Sharp been in?: Over the years Lesley Sharp has had many iconic roles including in The Full Monty, Scott & Bailey, Bob & Rose, Great Expectations, After Life and many, many more.
Jemma Moore as Jess Li
Who is Jess Li?: Jess is Hana's younger sister and following her investigations in season one, now a full time journalist.
What else has Jemma Moore been in?: Prior to her role in Red Eye, Jemma was best known for starring as the voice of Annabel Ward in the Netflix series Lockwood & Co. She's also appeared in a number of short films and two episodes of Silent Witness.

Who is Clay Brody?: Clay is the regional security officer for the US Embassy and has a complicated history with Hana.

Nicholas Rowe as Defence Secretary Alex Peterson
Who is Defence Secretary Alex Peterson?: Peterson is the UK Defence Secretary and joins Madeline on her plane back to London.
What else has Nicholas Rowe been in?: Nicholas first appeared on our screens as the lead of the 1985 movie Young Sherlock. Since then he's had roles in series such as Riviera, The Outlaws, Spy Among Friends, The Last Kingdom, The Crown, and movies such as Operation Mincemeat, Mr Holmes and many more.
Trevor White as US Ambassador Ronald Tillman
Who is US Ambassador Ronald Tillman?: Ronald is the new US Ambassador to the UK and starts his new job during the first episode of the series.

Who is Captain Sarah Wright?: Sarah is the ex-RAF captain in charge of flying Madeline and Alex back to London.
What else has Danusia Samal been in?: Danusia is mainly known for her roles in the theatre, however you may also recognise her from her roles in series The Great and Gangs of London.
Isaura Barbé-Brown as DCM Cece Reding
Who is DCM Cece Reding?: Cece works closely with the US Ambassador.
What else has Isaura Barbé-Brown been in?: Isaura is best known for playing Laurena Kama in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelward movie. She's also starred in McDonald & Dodds and Doctors.
