Just when you thought the jungle couldn’t get any juicier, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has thrown in a brand-new twist - and it involves none other than late entrants, Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson.
Rumours have been swirling for weeks that the duo might be joining the I'm a Celebrity 2025 line-up as late arrivals, and fans have been holding their breath waiting for confirmation. Well, hold onto your binoculars, because at the end of Wednesday’s episode, it was officially revealed that Vogue and Tom are heading into the jungle! But there's a twist...
The duo will be entering camp as Chief Explorers with "new-found" authority and will make their debut on Thursday night's episode.
It's not yet known what power they'll have exactly, but we suspect that the role could give them more control in camp, influence over the challenges, decisions, and maybe even the dynamics between the original campmates. In other words, the jungle just got a lot more unpredictable - and a lot more exciting.
Talk of podcaster and presenter Vogue, joining I’m a Celeb began weeks ago, fuelled by insider reports that: "Vogue would be one of the most glam signings I’m A Celeb has landed in years and they are thrilled. Her star is massively on the rise and this would be one of her biggest gigs yet. She is really fun and gets on with everyone, so bosses reckon she will be a hit with viewers."
Similarly, Tom, who many will recognise from Celebs Go Dating, was also rumoured to be joining the cast, with a source saying: "He’s got a huge personality and is totally hilarious, so he could be a real dark horse and be hugely popular with the public."
Speaking ahead of the series, Vogue opened up about her reason for joining the ITV1 show, admitting she needs a "jolt" after feeling she’s become stuck in her ways since turning 40 in October.
"I'm too comfortable in life. I sleep with four pillows in my bed just for me. And I'm like, I think you have to push yourself in your comfort zone, particularly when I turned 40, like I'm just getting stuck in my ways a little bit, and I like things a certain way," she said.
"I mean, I like to walk around in the park a certain way and everything. I was like, I just want to just be jolted back out of my comfort zone."
Tom, 39, added to The Mirror: "I shan’t sugar the pill. I am terrified. I do not think I have ever been quite so frightened. But it is a funny thing with fear historically for me because it is one of those things that swells and swells and swells in my mind. And as soon as I start something, I am actually much better."
