Married At First Sight UK's Rebecca and Bailey have revealed that they've split after leaving the E4 show as a couple.

On Sunday 16th November, aesthetics nurse Rebecca, 33, shared a glam picture with the caption: "To answer all the questions…. Yes, he fumbled."

An hour later, brewery owner Bailey, 36, followed up with a lengthy statement confirming their break up.

Alongside a photo of himself looking off into the distance, he wrote: "Unfortunately it’s time to share that Bec and I are no longer together… 😔

"We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end. I still have a lot of love for Bec and I’m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared. I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story.

"I won’t lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it’s something I’m still struggling with now. But I wouldn’t have changed any of it!"

Their break up comes after a TikToker claimed that Bailey cheated with his ex, Lulu (who he shares three-year-old daughter Bluebell with), while Rebecca was sick during the experiment.

Rebecca was quick to shut down these claims, saying at the time: "All I can say is I wasn’t ill and I didn’t miss anything. I can only talk about myself at the end of the day and I wasn’t ill. I’m never ill, so…"

Lulu added to The Sun: "Yes I have been sent the TikTok, it’s really upsetting to read as it’s completely untrue."

In response to these claims, Bailey continued in his statement: "Sadly I also have to address the various different false online allegations constantly being spread about me since the start of MAFS, which have been hard to deal with. I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point. I didn’t handle our break up well and for that I’m truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship.

"I’m not perfect, I don’t claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn’t work. Making the decision to end things was heartbreaking and not a decision that I took lightly."

He ended the statement by saying: "I’m still heartbroken, but I wish Bec all the best and I always will" alongside a love-heart emoji.

Rebecca and Bailey were one of the first couples to get married on the E4 dating show. Despite her worries on their wedding day that he wasn't an "alpha male", they fell madly in love and only went from strength to strength while on the dating show. They later had concerns about how they'd make it work with Becs living in Liverpool and Bailey in Hove, however, managed to make it all the way to final vows and the two-part reunion.

Outside of the experiment, rumours swirled that he'd rekindled things with Lulu after she posted a picture with a mystery man who fans believed to be Bailey.
