ICYMI: I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! is back, baby!

The show, which sees familiar faces battle it out in an Australian jungle, will be returning and is dropping on our screens in less than two weeks on 16 November.

Currently, we're scratching our heads and gathering clues as we begin to piece together the stars who are in discussions to join the show.

All the clues Martin Kemp is the first 'confirmed' I'm a Celebrity campmate

As we mull over the recent cast, the past few weeks have seen rumours that none other than Martin Kemp – the bassist from Spandau Ballet, who starred as Steven Owen in Eastenders – will be appearing on the show.

We're intrigued, especially as his son Roman Kemp will be appearing on Celebrity Race Across The World this November – making it a big month for the Kemp family.

So, without further ado, here are all the clues that Martin is heading Down Under...

An insider said Martin Kemp was in "advanced talks" to join the show

According to a report published by the Mirror on 30 October, an insider has said Martin is in "advanced talks" to join the show.

The insider also reportedly said: “Martin is a household name having been top of the hit parade with Spandau Ballet in the 80s and then in EastEnders in the early 2000s - he’s a great signing and everyone is very excited at the prospect of getting him Down Under.”

Of course, this isn't an on-the-record confirmation, nor has it come from the BBC or Martin, but we've got our fingers crossed.

Roman Kemp himself has said he would "do anything" to see his dad do a Bushtucker trial

Roman Kemp, Martin's son, appeared on the show in 2019. He lasted 22 days and finished third.

Speaking to the Mirror in 2022, Roman said: "Listen, I would do anything to see my dad eat llama anus."

The first trial Roman was nominated for by the public was an eating trial. Roman stated that, upon leaving the jungle, he realised he was put up for this challenge because of a tweet his dad made. As a result, Roman is "very up" for his dad to join the jungle.

"When I got out I was looking through some of the headlines, and it turns out the only reason I got voted to do that trial at the beginning was because my dad tweeted: 'Let’s get my son to eat kangaroo anus’. So, my God, I'm very up for him going in."

Martin Kemp has allegedly cancelled a music performance in late November

With the show scheduled to take place in November, any contestants would have to clear their diary in order to make time to travel to Australia and film the show.

Today (6 November) rumours started swirling that Martin was doing just that. He was scheduled to appear at Rock Choir Live at the NEC on 29 November, but on Twitter an individual alleged that Martin had pulled out of the performance and that an email had been sent out to ticket holders.

At the time of writing, however, neither NEC or Rock Choir Live have shared a statement confirming Martin is no longer performing, and his name is still featured on the lineup and all official promotional collateral.

Martin Kemp has canceled a nightclub performance in November

The Scottish night club Fubar, which is based in Stirling, posted an Instagram announcement confirming that Martin was cancelling an appearance that was due to take place on 8 November.

The announcement hinted that a major TV gig was to blame, fanning the flames of the I'm A Celeb rumours.

"We’ve just had word that Martin Kemp won’t be able to join us this Saturday as planned. He’s been called away for a major TV commitment (you’ll no doubt see it all over the telly very soon 👀📺)," the post read.

Our fingers are crossed!
