Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman may have only just quit Strictly Come Dancing (as of Thursday 24th October), but rumours are already swirling about who might replace them.
Currently Holly Willoughby and Roman Kemp are early favourites to take over presenting duties. But, they're not the only ones...
"The departure of both Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly marks the end of an era for Strictly Come Dancing, and naturally speculation has gone into overdrive about who could take the reins next," Ollie Ring, spokesperson for Casino Beats, said.
"Holly Willoughby and Roman Kemp are early market leaders, but familiar faces like Fleur East and Janette Manrara have strong ties to the show, while Alex Scott remains a credible option. Ultimately, the BBC’s next choice could shape the next decade of Strictly."
Here's a full list of all the latest rumours, odds and predictions on who could replace the iconic duo.
Who will replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Strictly?
Holly Willoughby
The former This Morning and Dancing on Ice presenter is leading the race when it comes to taking over from the iconic duo on Strictly, with 2/1 betting odds. Holly Willoughby, 44, is best known for co-presenting the ITV breakfast show alongside Phillip Schofield from 2009 to 2023. Earlier this year, she co-hosted Bear Hunt on Netflix alongside Bear Grylls. With lots of experience under her belt, Willoughby would be a strong contender.
Roman Kemp
Radio host, podcast host and presenter Roman Kemp, 32, is closely behind Willoughby with 3/1 odds. From 2017 to 2024, Kemp presented the Capital FM breakfast show. Nowadays you can find him fronting The One Show on BBC One. This Autumn, he'll take part in Celebrity Race Across the World alongside his sister Harley Moon Kemp.
With his easygoing charm and live TV experience, Kemp could bring a fresh, youthful energy to Strictly.
Alex Scott
With 4/1 odds, Alex Scott is a nice choice for Strictly. Scott is a presenter, pundit and former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Currently, the 41-year-old presents Football Focus, which she’s hosted since 2021. While most of her presenting career has been in sport, Strictly could be the perfect opportunity for Scott to swap the pitch for the dance floor...
Fleur East
Singer and Presenter Fleur East, 37, has been tipped to take over from Tess and Claudia, with 5/1 odds. East already hosts the after-show, Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, alongside Janette Manrara - and that is where Claudia started out before moving to the main show in 2014...
Janette Manrara
Similar to Fleur East, Janette's name has been mentioned because of her connection to the show and she currently has odds of 6/1. The 41-year-old was also a professional dancer on Strictly from 2013 to 2021, before she moved over to presenting It Takes Two. Unlike any of the other names mentioned, she has a strong background and understanding of dance, which could give her an advantage.
Stacey Solomon
Stacey Solomon's name has been floated as a potential host for the BBC One dance show, with 7/1 odds. Solomon, 36, rose to fame after appearing on the sixth series of The X Factor, on which she came third. The following year, she appeared on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here and was crowned Queen of the Jungle. Most recently, she's turned to presenting and has become a regular panellist on Loose Women.
Maya Jama
Love Island presenter Maya Jama is another name that has been floating about. She currently has 8/1 odds, so she isn't a frontrunner - but not a bad choice, if you ask us. Jama, 31, started hosting the ITV2 dating series in 2023, taking over from Laura Whitmore, and has really made the show her own with her iconic looks and confident strut into the villa.
She does have a lot on her plate though, including The Masked Singer, Baller League, and two seasons of Love Island a year, so she might be a little booked and busy to add Strictly to the mix.
Emma Willis
Emma Willis, 49, is rumoured to be taking over from Tess and Claudia, with 10/1 odds. Willis has quite the presenting CV, having hosted Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, Big Brother's Bit on the Side, and The Voice UK. Most recently, she joined Love Is Blind as the host of the UK series alongside her husband, Matt Willis. Honestly, Emma would be perfect in my eyes.
AJ Odudu
Big Brother host AJ Odudu, 37, is amongst those tipped to become a Strictly host with 12/1 odds. We love us some AJ and she does a fab job presenting the ITV reality TV show, but there's an issue - she'd probably have to step down from Big Brother, as both shows air during Autumn.
Joel Dommett
English comedian and TV show host Joel Dommett, 40, has been rumoured. He currently has odds of 14/1. Dommett is well known for hosting The Masked Singer and bringing his quick wit and charm to the stage - qualities that could make him an entertaining addition to Strictly.
Alison Hammond
Current Bake Off co-host Alison Hammond’s name has been thrown into the mix - and you know what? I’m not mad at it. As well as appearing on the Channel 4 baking show, Alison, 50, is a regular on This Morning, where her infectious energy has made her a beloved TV personality. She’d bring a fun, down-to-earth vibe to Strictly that viewers would love.
Vernon Kay
Tess Daly's husband, Vernon Kay, is also amongst those rumoured for the BBC One dance show. Kay has presented various shows including All Star Family Fortunes, Splash! and Beat the Star. While his current odds stand at 20/1, having Tess as a wife means the 51-year-old could get plenty of hosting advice.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One on Saturdays.
