Married At First Sight UK continues tonight (Wednesday 22nd October), with the MAFS UK 2025 cast heading off on a romantic retreat. However, fans of the show will notice that one of the groom's has been missing in the past week.
Personal trainer from Huddersfield, Joe, didn't attend the dinner party on Monday night or the commitment ceremony on Tuesday, leaving his wife, aesthetics practitioner Maeve, to attend alone.
Sadly, Joe's grandfather passed away while he was filming the show, so he went home to attend the funeral. Prior to that, he spent some time away from Maeve to get his mind right.
So, has Joe left MAFS UK?

Has Joe left Married At First Sight UK?
Joe hasn't confirmed that he's completely left the experiment. He did take some time off filming to attend his granddad's funeral, which he spoke to Maeve about on Monday night's episode.
Ahead of the dinner party, he met with Maeve at a cafe and told her that he wouldn't be coming with her as he needed to go home for the funeral. He wasn't present at the commitment ceremony either.
Following the couples day out, Joe decided to move to a separate apartment over fears that he and Maeve might not be compatible. As a result, they didn't take part in Love and Hate week.
Joe recently spoke out about his absence from the show, after facing backlash from fans about how he's treated Maeve during this time.
He said: "Death is hard enough to process at the best of times, but when you've had no communication with family and your under intense scrutiny in the experiment, it threw me off completely and I really lost myself and my thoughts.
"I truly am sorry for being confused in my feelings at this point and for upsetting people, I take full accountability. But family was and always will be my number one priority and I have no shame in that."
When will Joe return to MAFS UK?
It's not known when or if Joe will return to the E4 dating show.
In Wednesday night's episode, the couples head off on a retreat.
Based on the teaser trailer, which sees Maeve chatting to Grace and Ashley about her and Joe's relationship, it doesn't look like he is back.
The cast are now more than halfway through the experiment, so there's a few weeks left and he could make a return this weekend.
