Now that Love Is Blind season 9 is wrapping up, more cast members are speaking out and spilling the tea. The most recent bombshell: Joe Ferrucci and Kacie McIntosh dated after Love Is Blind. But that’s not all — the source confirming the news is Joe’s current girlfriend, Averee Madison.
If you listened to Joe’s ex-fiancée Madison Maidenberg’s appearance on the Love To See It podcast last week, you might have suspected that Joe and Kacie had chemistry. Speaking about her breakup with Joe, Madison revealed that they had run into Kacie while out the night before the split. “I look over and Kacie has two hands on Joe’s chest,” Madison said, adding that Joe told her Kacie was giving him “googly eyes.”
Joe has yet to comment on Madison’s retelling, but when asked on the Reality Receipts podcast if she had any comment, Averee said that she had a similar experience with Kacie.
Though she denied that Kacie had anything to do with Joe’s decision to end his engagement on LIB, she confirmed that Joe and Kacie went on a couple of dates two months after the breakup with Madison.
"So when Joe and I started talking — I think it was our first date — we were at a bar, and he was, like, ran into this girl, and he’s like, ‘Oh you know I’ve gone on a couple dates with that girl.'
"And I was like, ‘Who?’ and I, like, look over and of course it’s Kacie. And I was like, ‘Oh, okay.’" Averee added that she "didn’t know much about her at that point" but that Joe was “fully transparent” about what had happened.
Averee then noted that, while she and Madison aren’t good friends — they’re “cordial” — she sees Kacie as a common enemy of sorts. “My heart goes out to her because I’m like, ‘This woman is now trying to mess with both of us in different ways and different experiences,’” Averee said of Madison. “So if there’s one thing that we can agree on, it’s Kacie is not a good person.”
