Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left feeling disappointed and confused after it's been announced this week's Strictly theme will be Icons Week, not the predicted Halloween week.
Halloween Week is a staple amongst fans of the show, with the special episode taking place every year. It's often one of the most entertaining weeks of the series, as the celebrities and their professional dance partners don costumes and dance to spooky themed songs.
However, during Saturday night's show it was revealed the theme for this weekend's show (25 October) will actually be Icons Week.
Opening the show on Saturday night, host Tess Daly said: "With our Icons Special next week no one wants to leave."
The revelation left many fans disappointed as they had predicted Halloween Week would take place this coming weekend as it's the weekend prior to Halloween (31 October).
One person wrote on X: "I beg your pardon no halloween week? #Strictly." While another person said: "Icons week? Such an unnecessary theme week... Should be Halloween as the week after is into November! Lame #Strictly."
So is Halloween week happening this year? Well so far the BBC hasn't officially confirmed if or when it will be taking place, however, it is likely it will still take place this year and instead happen the following week on 1st November.
Usually Halloween week takes place during Week 6 of the show which would match up with 1 November for this year.
So we will probably still be getting Halloween Week just one day into November. We reckon we can still keep the spooky vibes going for one more day.
Strictly Come Dancing continues this weekend on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
