The mother of Steven from Married At First Sight's children, Chloe, has spoken out following last night's dinner party.
On Thursday 2nd October, Steven lost it after Julia-Ruth revealed to his wife Nelly that he'd been bragging about the women he'd slept with on their night out while she was at home with dealing with a broken rib.
Taking to TikTok, Chloe who shares two children with the investment banker, 34, revealed her thoughts on the show, particularly Thursday's dinner party.
She said: "When it comes to the behaviours on the show and stuff, I don't condone outbursts or any of that kind of behaviour and I feel like it is being heavily edited to look a certain way."
Referencing Leah, who is married to Leigh, she continued: "The same with Leah - I feel like Leah's been done a little bit dirty here as well. I feel we're not getting the whole picture. They're filming for 12 weeks and out of that we're getting an hour's viewing four nights a week. Obviously we're not getting the full picture, but I do feel to a certain extent that editing is at play here."
In the video which is almost 10 minutes long, Chloe also responded to claims from an influencer named Melissa Stacey, who dated Steven before the show, and says he left her to film the series.
"Steven, Married At First Sight 2025 didn't have a secret girlfriend at the time of filming and I'm going to go into it," Chloe began.
She went on to explain that her and Steven, who she had a six to seven year relationship with, split amicably and still speak as they coparent their children. She says she knew he was dating someone in January this year, but says that about six weeks later, Steven told her it didn't work out.
Chloe ended the video by saying she was in no way "coming to Steven's rescue" and that he didn't even know she was making this video, nor was she trying to bash Melissa.
Cosmopolitan UK reached out to Channel 4 on Steven's behalf for a comment.
Earlier this week, influencer Melissa shared a three-part video on TikTok, claiming that she met Steven earlier this year and they were dating, before he suddenly "disappeared".
"He seemed like the nicest guy, he seemed like a great dad, I genuinely fell for this guy," she said.
"This guy told me that he loved me and that he saw a future with me. We rarely went two or three days without seeing each other."
Melissa said that after Valentine's Day 2025, which they reportedly spent together, Steven became distant, blaming a busy schedule and a new job. She claimed he then ghosted her for six weeks, sharing a screenshot of what she says was his final message.
Melissa claimed that over a month after ghosting her, Steven reached out saying he’d been filming a Netflix drama in Greece. He allegedly called her from a burner phone, expressed regret, and they briefly resumed dating, though she still believed it was a scripted show, not Married at First Sight.
She later discovered through Instagram that he was on MAFS, saying: "My jaw dropped." After trying to contact him and being blocked, she claimed he messaged her saying: "When you see the person they’ve put me with, it will all make sense," and that the show wasn’t worth losing her over.
On his relationship with Melissa, Steven told The Tab: "Melissa is a lovely girl and yes we dated for a couple of months, but ultimately things did not progress into anything official as I didn’t see a future in us. I then went onto the show to find a wife."
Married At First Sight UK airs on E4 Sunday to Thursday.
