We’re now heading into week 3 of MAFS UK, and a lot has changed since Nelly and Steven’s wedding. What started as a promising match has faced some serious challenges. Steven’s recent behaviour - going out drinking while Nelly was recovering from a broken rib, boasting about his past relationships, and even calling her an "f***ing idiot" - has raised eyebrows.

His ex, Melissa, has also come forward with screenshots claiming he left her to be on the show. At the latest commitment ceremony, the experts confronted Steven, who explained his outburst was due to personal stress with his stepdad in hospital. Despite the drama, the couple has chosen to stay together for now.

Nelly, 30, and Steven, 34, were the fourth couple to marry on this season, where singles meet their match for the first time at the altar and navigate married life.

The 10th series was filmed earlier this year, which means the couples will have already made their final decisions.

So, are Steven and Nelly still together? Here’s what we know so far.

What's happened with Nelly and Steven on MAFS UK so far?

30-year-old dentist Nelly was looking for a guy who is in her own words "completely obsessed" with her and someone who was also career and family orientated. Having seen her own parents' loving arranged marriage, Nelly was hopeful she could meet someone who she'll also have a strong bond with.

Enter: Steven, a 34-year-old former footballer turned investment banking manager. A da to two children from a previous relationship, he was looking for someone to complete his family.

On their wedding day, the pair were both nervous to meet their new spouse and Nelly went above and beyond with perhaps the most iconic entrance in MAFS UK history, arriving down the aisle carried on a large doli adorned in flowers. Before meeting Steven, Nelly was nervous to see how he'd react to her entrance, but thankfully he was very impressed and loved it, saying "wow" as she descended from the doli.

The pair were instantly smitten and happy with the appearance of each other, with Nelly remarking how tall Steven is, and Steven saying to a beaming Nelly "what an entrance". Steven then said to producers he was "feeling" Nelly and liked the smile she gave him. They then shared their romantic vows and kissed on the lips after exchanging their vows.

Their wedding breakfast went off without a hitch, and despite putting off telling Nelly about his two children throughout the evening, Steven eventually told Nelly about his son and daughter, and she was receptive and warm to him opening up.

The couple seemed to be going from strength-to-strength on their honeymoon as Nelly joked that he was "good with his hands". However, when they returned to their apartments there seemed to be a shift.

Nelly confided in the girls about her insecurities and fears that Steven might not be genuinely interested in her. Steven then clashed with Keye, feeling she was interfering after Keye encouraged him to compliment Nelly’s dress. At the commitment ceremony, Nelly opened up to the experts, who encouraged her to stay present in the relationship and not let past experiences cloud what she and Steven are building together.

By the next dinner party, however, things had taken an even darker turn. After Julia-Ruth revealed that Steven had been boasting at the bar about sleeping with a Z-lister just two weeks before filming - while Nelly was at home recovering from a broken rib - Steven lost his temper, swearing at the others. The following day, he and Nelly had a heated argument during which he called her a "f***ing idiot".

They brought it up at the commitment ceremony and Steven tried to backtrack on what he'd said, however, Mel Schilling called him out on it. He then admitted that he'd been feeling overwhelmed that week due to his stepdad being in hospital.

The couple then agreed to stay in the experiment.

Are Nelly and Steven on MAFS UK still together?

It's not yet known whether Steven and Nelly made it through the experiment and decided to stay together.

Right now it's not looking too good for the couple. Steven's ex Melissa recently shared some screenshots, which she claims prove that he left her to be on the show. She alleges that he reached out to her after filming ended and said that theshow wasn’t worth losing her over.

On his relationship with Melissa, Steven told The Tab: "Melissa is a lovely girl and yes we dated for a couple of months, but ultimately things did not progress into anything official as I didn’t see a future in us. I then went onto the show to find a wife."

The mother of Steven's children, Chloe, has also spoken out about Steven's recent behaviour on the show and addressed Melissa's messages.

"When it comes to the behaviours on the show and stuff, I don't condone outbursts or any of that kind of behaviour and I feel like it is being heavily edited to look a certain way," she said.

Nelly and Steven are still following each other on Instagram, which could be a sign that they're still on good terms. Whether they're still married though, we'll have to wait and see.

We'll update you right here once we know more.

MAFS UK airs on E4 at 9pm Sunday to Thursday.
