Celebrity Race Across the World returns to our screens this evening, and this series features the first celebrity couple to take part in the series - Molly Rainford and Tyler West.
Usually the show sees four pairings race across a section of the world in order to compete for their chance to walk away with the prize money for their charity of choice. Each pairing usually has the celebrity and their loved one who isn't usually in the public eye. However, this series will feature the first pairing where both parties are famous as Molly Rainford and Tyler West take on the challenge.
Travelling across Central America, their relationship will be put to the ultimate test; cue tight budgets, language barriers, navigation struggles and, worst of all, no technology to guide them along (damn!).

2022 - Molly and Tyler meet on Strictly
Funnily enough, Molly and Tyler met while competing against each other as celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022. Tyler was paired up with pro-dancer Dianne Buswell, waltzing all the way up to week nine in the competition.
Molly, on the other hand, reached the final with her partner Carlos Gu. Although Molly and Tyler formed a solid friendship during the series, romance wasn’t on the cards just yet.
2023 - The duo confirm their romance
The Strictly Live Tour saw the pair performing around the UK in January 2023. During this time, Tyler admitted to Hello! Magazine, "We snuck out the back of the hotel [and] went to a chicken spot. We had rum punch and spoke for hours." Towards the end of the tour, they grew closer after spending more and more time together.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Molly shared: ‘We were just doing everything together and it just progressed from there really." Fast-forward two months and they announced their relationship on TikTok in March 2023.
2024 - The couple move in together
The couple took a big step in their relationship in January 2024… moving in together! Speaking of their shared home in London, Tyler said to the Mail Online at the time: "Molly’s turned into a whole interior designer so I’m just taking a complete back seat!" We love this for them.
2025 - Molly and Tyler get enaged
In August, Tyler got on one knee and asked Molly to marry him while they were on holiday in Mykonos, Greece. In their engagement video, Tyler says: 'I don't know where to start... so I'm hoping you can continue making me the luckiest man on this Earth, like you do every single day. So, baby... will you marry me?'
And the next chapter in their relationship? Celebrity Race Across the World, with Tyler revealing the challenge felt like a perfect chance to take their relatisonhip to the next level.
"It feels like we've been together years and years but to do something like this would take our relationship to the next level and bring us closer together," he said ahead of the challenge.
