Jude Law as Jake Friedken
Who is Jake Friedken? Jake is the owner of the Black Rabbit restaurant. He opened it with his brother Vince, but now runs it solely by himself.
"When you meet Jake, he has sort of turned his life around," Law revealed to Tudum. "The restaurant has become highly successful. He’s put aside his juvenile behavior and really taken the reins of the place and made it a success, and made himself a success - or so it seems."
What else has Jude Law been in? Law is famous for his range as an actor, earning Oscar nominations for The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain. He’s starred in films like The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Nest, and Spy, and appeared in TV shows such as The Young Pope and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
Jason Bateman as Vince Friedken
Who is Vince Friedken? Vince is Jake's troubled brother. A former drug addict, at the beginning of the series, he's struggling to make ends meet and goes to visit his brother in New York.
Bateman said of the character: "He makes a bunch of mistakes and is risky to have around, but he’s a well-meaning guy. He’s a problem, but he’s super lovable because he’s just not that bright. And you have empathy for a guy who you can see is trying to make the right decision, but just can’t get out of his own way."
What else has Jason Bateman been in? Ozark fans will recognise Bateman from the crime drama series, in which he plays the lead role of Marty Byrde. He's also starred in films such as Identity Thief, Carry-On, Juno, Thunder Force and Bad Words, which he also directed.
Cleopatra Coleman as Estelle
Who is Estelle? Estelle is the interior designer for Black Rabbit and the girlfriend of investor Wes (Sopé Dìrísù).
On the role, co-creator Kate Susman said: "[Cleopatra] surprised us with that character. The scenes between her and Jude were so interesting and so layered that every scene we shot with them gave us other ideas for how we wanted to shape and change things."

Amaka Okafor as Roxie
Who is Roxie? Roxie is the head chef at Black Rabbit. She's very talented, and has her own ambitions when it comes to how the restaurant should be run.
What else has Amaka Okafor been in? Okafor has featured in TV series such as The Responder and Bodies. She’s also a talented voice actor, with credits in audio dramas like The Sandman and Doctor Who.
Sopé Dìrísù as Wes
Who is Wes? Wes is a musician and investor at Black Rabbit. He is a close friend of Jake's and is in a relationship with Estelle.
What else has Sopé Dìrísù been in? Dìrísù plays Elliot Finch (Carter) in Sky's Gangs of London. He's also starred in Slow Horses, and films including The Gorge and Mr. Malcolm’s List.
Abbey Lee as Anna
Who is Anna? Anna is a bartender at Black Rabbit. At the beginning of the series, she finds herself at odds with Jake.
What else has Abbey Lee been in? Lee is a model and actress. She made her film debut in George Miller's post-apocalyptic film Mad Max: Fury Road, alongside Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy. She's also appeared in The Neon Demon and Office Christmas Party.
Robin de Jesús as Tony
Who is Tony? Tony is a kitchen employee at Black Rabbit. He works closely with Roxie.
What else has Robin de Jesús been in? De Jesús is a film and theatre actor. He previously starred in In the Heights, La Cage aux Folles, and The Boys in the Band, which he reprised his role for the 2020 film. He also appeared in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s film adaptation of tick… tick… BOOM!
Odessa Young as Gen
Who is Gen? Gen is Vince's estranged daughter. She runs her own tattoo parlour and is shocked to see Vince again.

Dagmara Dominczyk as Val
Who is Val? Val is Jake's ex-wife and the mother of his son Hunter.
What else has Dagmara Dominczyk been in? Dominiczyk made an impact as Karolina, the head of PR at Waystar Royco in Succession. She has also appeared in films such as The Lost Daughter, Priscilla, and The Immigrant.
Troy Kotsur as Joe Mancuso
Who is Joe Mancuso? Mancuso is a ruthless New York City kingpin who controls Vince through a hefty debt, keeping him firmly under his thumb.
Deaf actor Troy Kotsur played a key role in shaping his character.
Co-creator Zach Baylin said: "We met Troy at an event while he was promoting CODA and instantly connected with him. We began discussing what kind of role he wanted, and he expressed a desire to play a villain. So when we developed this part, we crafted it specifically with him in mind."

Forrest Weber as Junior
