We've got just one week to go until Strictly Come Dancing kicks off.

On Saturday 20th September, this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up will be paired with their Strictly pro dancer.

The episode was pre-recorded on 10th September. Before this, the celebs had a pre-rehearsal to see who they mesh well with as they practiced a light routine. It was also a chance for them to suss out the competition, with Drag performer and singer La Voix telling us that she now has her eye on Love Island star Dani Dyer.

Asked who her biggest competition is out of the other celebs, La Voix told Cosmopolitan UK exclusively: "Well, I think Dani Dyer is actually secretly... I think she's keeping things up her sleeve. I think she's a very good dancer, by the looks of it. And I think she was pretending to get things wrong so she could, you know, show a bit of a journey. Between you and me, I think she's going to be brilliant. I think she picked up the moves very easily."

She continued: "Who else I think... I mean Stefan Dennis, what a legend to have on the show. I grew up with Neighbours, so I was quite amazed to meet him. I don't think he's going to be the best, but he's certainly not the worst. There was no one that was terrible. There was no real big sort of, dare I say it, Ann Widdecombe moments in the rehearsal room where people were just like being flung around. Everyone looked like they could hold their own. I think Danny's one to watch out for, and also Ellie - not only is she a good dancer, but her passion and her energy for wanting to be on the show is amazing. And I think she's going to be really fired up every single week."

While La Voix has performed for the likes of Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent, RuPaul on Drag Race UK, and even members of the Royal Family - including singing at Prince William and Harry's New Year's Eve party for two consecutive years, and also for Queen Elizabeth - she is feeling pretty anxious about the BBC One dance show.

She explained: "I feel like I've conquered so many of my other fears on these shows, especially with Drag Race, it really did push me outside so many different areas of my expertise. Dance is the one that I've never tackled. It's always been that one gremlin. And I'd love to walk off the back of Strictly and say, 'I think I can dance' and then I just feel like there's no regrets."

Despite the nerves, La Voix is in it to win it, adding: "I've done enough of these shows now. Gone is the 'It was enough of an achievement'. No, I need to win this. My reputation is going to be, 'Oh, there she goes, another show she's doing and she won't win. No, I've got to win this for my own sanity. And I think, to be honest, after the BBC final of Drag Race UK, they need to redeem themselves for not giving me the trophy on that one. So they owe me this, and I'm going to give my all of that dance floor."

Strictly Come Dancing starts on Saturday 20th September at 9pm.
