Abby
Age: 32
Location: Berkshire
Why is Abby going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Abby admits to having been a bit of a "player" in the past but, after a year of being single, is ready to settle down. She's hoping to find someone she can truly commit to, with hopes to start a family in the near future.
What will Abby miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Abby says she'll miss her family, friends, dog Zeus, and nice clothes the most. If she could, she'd take a slick hairbrush, spray, and gym equipment.
Our verdict: Abby's love of the gym and dedication to staying fit makes us think she'll be a strong contender when stranded on Honeymoon Island.
David
Age: 30
Location: Montreal/London
Why is David going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? David has been single for almost a year and is looking for someone who embodies the qualities that align with his values and aspirations. He's keen to pair with someone who is goal-oriented, has a clear sense of direction in life, and is driven to achieve their dreams.
What will David miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? David says he'll miss music, TV, and protein-rich foods while on Honeymoon Island. If he could, David would bring to the island a notebook and pen to journal his thoughts and experiences, his Bible, and his smart watch to keep track of his health.
Our verdict: Although he says he can adapt easily, David admits he doesn't have the best survival skills, so thriving on the island could be a struggle for him.
Hannah
Age: 29
Location: London
Why is Hannah going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Self-confessed "perfectionist", Hannah, has been single for six years and worries that no man will meet her high expectations. She's going onto Honeymoon Island to find "the one" who she hopes will be handsome and well-dressed, with a quietly confident personality.
What will Hannah miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? While stranded, Hannah will miss her 7x zoom mirror, her pet rabbit, and her music. She'll also miss her hair products, her journal, and flavoursome food – especially Maggi seasoning and mayonnaise.
Our verdict: There definitely won't be any mayo or mirrors on Honeymoon Island, which might spell trouble for Hannah while she's there.
Helen
Age: 35
Location: Manchester
Why is Helen going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Helen has been single for over a year and is open to meeting anyone, but has a preference for a masc-presenting women. Helen's ideal partner isn't much of a homebody, will share her zest for life, and not take themselves too seriously. Having tattoos is a bonus, too!
What will Helen miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Helen admits she'll miss her hair extensions, fake tan, and her cats while on Honeymoon Island. If she could, she'd pack her ukulele, her favourite book (Sense and Sensibility, FYI), and her avocado squishy to sleep with.
Our verdict: Without her bedtime buddy and beauty go-tos, it doesn't seem like Helen will find it easy to make Honeymoon Island her home.
Ini
Age: 28
Location: Kent
Why is Ini going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Ini has been single for three years and is looking for love that has God at the heart. She wants someone who shares her values, her vision, and her appetite for adventure, and in terms of looks, someone who is tall with a gym bod is her ideal match!
What will Ini miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Ini will miss her phone, her comfort shows, her family and friends, and her wardrobe while stranded. If she could, she'd pack her tongue scraper, noodles, and her Bible.
Our verdict: Ini says she loves to "push herself outside of her comfort zone", so all signs are pointing to her being a strong survivor on the island.
Jordan
Age: 30
Location: West Yorkshire
Why is Jordan going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Jordan has been single for five years and is tired of being the only single lad in his friendship group. While he's only been in one serious relationship, and isn't sure if he's ever truly been in love, he's ready to settle down with someone he can care for and fall in love with.
What will Jordan miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? While on Honeymoon Island, Jordan says he'll miss his parents, his dogs, watching football, and going to work as a barber! If he could, Jordan would take a bottle of rum, a pen knife, and his hair clippers.
Our verdict: Wanting to pack a pen knife? It's giving: practical! With that in mind, Jordan could be one to watch when it comes to survival skills on the island!
Mae
Age: 30
Location: Nottingham
Why is Mae going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Referring to herself as a "foster girlfriend" – meaning, every guy she dates seems to end up in a serious relationship just after her – Mae is keen to find her own "forever home" in her match. It's been six years since her last serious relationship, and she's now looking for a deep, lasting connection.
What will Mae miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? On Honeymoon Island, Mae will miss her mum, her dog, and TikTok. As a self-confessed "high maintenance queen", Mae wishes she could take her anti-wrinkle straw, her red-light therapy mask, and her leave-in conditioner.
Our verdict: Based on her love of those beauty luxuries, we think Mae might struggle when she's stranded on the island...
Millie
Age: 30
Location: Cheshire
Why is Millie going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? It's been a rocky few years for Millie when it comes to dating, and after four years of being single, she's built high walls and even higher standards. Millie admits to getting "the ick" pretty quickly, but hopes being isolated on an island might help her shift focus away from material things and allow her to build a deeper, more meaningful connection with someone.
What will Millie miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Millie will mostly miss her mum and her Pomeranian, Gizmo, as well as her home comforts like her bed and her daily routine. If she could, Millie says she'd bring her own pillow, her makeup bag, and all her haircare products so she could keep her extensions fresh.
Our verdict: We can't imagine Honeymoon Island has a secret stash of pillows... or any home comforts for that matter. Will this be Millie's downfall?
Moray
Age: 28
Location: Edinburgh
Why is Moray going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Moray's been single for the last three years, with his previous relationship ending when his girlfriend cheated on him. As a result, he struggles to trust others and is yet to find "the one". That being said, he's keen to try again on Honeymoon Island, hoping to learn how to open his heart in the pursuit of lasting love.
What will Moray miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? While stranded, Moray says he'll miss his daily routine, especially going to the gym and watching TV. As a caffeine addict, Moray would love to take an espresso machine with him, as well as a source of WiFi.
Our verdict: With a distinct lack of home luxuries on the island, we're not sure Moray will last long... although an espresso may change that!
Oliver
Age: 31
Location: London
Why is Oliver going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? After six years being single, Oliver says he's lost faith in dating and is tired of the London love scene – which he thinks is expensive, repetitive, and full of catfish. He wants someone who is "stunning" and has "their life together" and can have an intellectual conversation while also enjoying a fun day at a festival.
What will Oliver miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? On Honeymoon Island, Oliver will miss protein and good food, going to the gym, his laptop, and his air fryer! If he could, he would take his protein powder, creatine, and hair products with him.
Our verdict: If he can survive a festival, Oliver might just be able to survive on Honeymoon Island. But, we're not so sure he'll cope without his beloved protein powders...
Sam
Age: 30
Location: London
Why is Sam going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Sam is ready to build a meaningful connection and hopes to find the love of his life who he can settle down with. Physically, he wants a girl who is in good shape, dresses well, and has striking, soulful eyes. Beyond that, his ideal partner is kind, caring, and empathetic.
What will Sam miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Sam says he'll miss long, steamy showers, his textured bed linen, and his coffee machine when he's stranded on the island.
Our verdict: Sam might be looking for romance, but his love of long showers and hotel-worthy bedding might just leave him heartbroken on Honeymoon Island.
Taniae
Age: 33
Location: London, originally from Australia
Why is Taniae going on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Taniae moved to London in 2023 for a fresh start after being unlucky in love. Now, she's on the move again, hoping her time on Honeymoon Island will take her outside her comfort zone and open her up to building deeper connections. She loves British guys, and would like to meet someone who is clever, funny, confident, and in touch with their spiritual side.
What will Taniae miss the most on Stranded on Honeymoon Island? Speaking about what she'll miss most when stranded, Taniae's answer is hot water, Pilates, and her Instagram.
Our verdict: Having grown up in Australia, Taniae surely won't be afraid of Honeymoon Island's creepy crawlies. Plus, we all know Pilates girlies are strong as heck, so we bet she'll thrive!
