Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins competitor Lucy Spraggan confesses that she was knocked out during the treacherous helicopter-jumping task.

In the gruelling mission, the recruits had to jump from a moving speedboat up onto a passing helicopter. They needed to balance steadily on the edge of the boat, wait for the heli to reach the right level, then take an enormous leap of faith.

Unfortunately, the former X Factor contestant hesitated and didn’t manage to grab onto the chopper, instead smacking into the water.

“After the boat carry, I actually fainted. We got back to the base and I think a lot of women would really want the experience of fainting into Adam Collard's arms, which is what I did. I fainted and I was really unwell. I was nearly medically withdrawn.

“When I fainted, and when they the doctor was like, ‘We might have to medically withdraw you, I kind of accepted that I might fail,’ she exclusively reveals to Cosmopolitan.

The musician luckily wasn’t medically withdrawn from the brutal military training series, although the incident did give her a black eye and displaced her facial filler.

It was described as “one of the most dangerous tasks on the course” by the show, but Spraggan was actually left with a greater injury after the bungee-jumping task. Falling from the 130-foot viaduct, the harness ripped her labia and she is now facing reconstructive surgery.

However, none of that has waned the musician’s motivation, as the star declares “My whole life has been about keeping on going” after leaving The X Factor.
