Contains spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty
After two years away The Summer I Turned Pretty has officially landed on Prime Video for its third and final season, as we see Belly finally decide whether to be with Conrad or Jeremiah.
However, we have a long time to wait until we likely get her big decision, as the series is being released in weekly instalments, with an exception made for this premiere week in which the first two episodes of the series - 'Last Season' and 'Last Christmas' - were released today on Prime Video.
This means the series finale won't air until September, and if you're just as impatient as us, then you'll likely want to know how the story wraps up.
The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on a trilogy of books of the same name by Jenny Han, who also serves as the show's creator. However, Han has warned fans things won't totally be the same as they are in the novel.
But while of course it won't be a direct copy and paste of the novel, we still expect there will be certain bits that do appear in the series, and so here is how third The Summer I Turned Pretty book We'll Always Have Summer ends for all the main characters.
What happens to Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad at the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty final book?
In both the end of the second book and second series, Belly and Jeremiah get into a relationship. We then see them go off to college together, and there's a two year time jump, unlike the show which takes it to four years on.
In the third book Jeremiah confesses to cheating on Belly, and while devastated Belly ultimately decides to stay with Jeremiah and he proposes to her, which she accepts.
However, it isn't all wedding bells, sunshine and rainbows as Belly's family are concerned about her getting married and especially more so when they discover Jeremiah cheated on Belly.
The group spend the summer at Cousins, and during this time Conrad and Belly reconnect and he eventually confesses his feelings of love for her. He then goes onto tell her she shouldn't marry Jeremiah but Belly ultimately rejects Conrad.
It then comes to the day of Belly and Jeremiah's wedding and Jeremiah reads a letter left for him from his mum Susannah. Except, the envelopes accidentally got switched and he ends up with the one meant for Conrad.
In Susannah's letter she says to Conrad that she had only seen him happy in love once and that was with Belly. Jeremiah then confronts Belly about her feelings for Conrad, which she denies, but Jeremiah doesn't believe her and they call off the wedding.
The book then moves onto the epilogue where Belly reads the letter left for her by Susannah. We then get another time jump to two years later and come to learn Belly has had a bunch of adventures by herself, including studying abroad.
She then marries Conrad, after they reunite at her college graduation and Jeremiah attends the wedding with a new love interest.
What happens to Steven and Taylor at the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty final book?
As some fans may already know Steven and Taylor's relationship is nowhere near as much of a thing in the books as it is in the show. In fact they basically only share one kiss and then nothing is ever mentioned again.
Instead, in the third and final book Steven has much more of a backseat role. He expresses his doubt in Belly getting married so young, but does ultimately serve as Jeremiah's best man and ends up being supportive of the wedding.
At the end of book two Taylor and Belly have a big fight, which we thankfully never see in the series. They make up by the third book and carry on being close, even going to the same college, and is there by Belly's side throughout the wedding planning.
