Love Island host Maya Jama has called out one of the Islanders during the end of the Casa Amor recoupling and fans were quick to praise her for the move.

At the start of tonight's episode [10 July] viewers watched as Tommy returned from Casa Amor, having recoupled with Lucy, leaving his current partner Emily and the rest of the Villa in shock at his decision.

After the new couple sat down at the firepit, Maya invited back the two girls Yaz and Rheo from Casa Amor who weren't chosen for the recoupling. Yaz and Rheo shared their thoughts on the recoupling, with Rheo saying she was surprised by Harry's actions.

Maya then invited the original girls to say anything they wanted to, to which Toni said: "I don't know, Tommy obviously surprised me. The rest of you not so much."

Ben then out of nowhere piped up and referenced Toni's ex-partner Harrison recoupling with Lauren, and said: "Nah, I just feel I've got to give it to Harrison, man. What Lauren's been able to give him in three days you haven't been able to do in two, three weeks."

Toni then clapped back and said: "Save it b***h," and her bestie Shakira added: "There are two brain cells up there, I swear to god."

Then Maya also addressed Ben's comment going onto call it "unnecessary", she scolded the Islander saying: "Yeah I didn't really mean like that Ben, that was unnecessary."

And it's safe to say viewers were loving Maya's comment to Ben, with one person on X writing: "Maya Jama humbling ben now, where was she all this time??" while another added: "nobody asked Ben for his input… Maya clocked him quickly," and another said: "Maya rly put Ben in his place legend."

Honestly, what an iconic host.
