Love Island series 12 has taken fans on a rollercoaster of twists and turns, and the drama shows no sign of stopping. In tonight’s episode [Tuesday 24 June], the villa receives a shock text, instructing four islanders – Helena, Emily, Remell and Dejon – to leave the villa immediately in a car waiting outside. Giorgio is 30 years old, making him one of the oldest Islanders in the villa this year alongside Harry, who is also 30, and Helena, who is 29.

Giorgio is half Italian, and he is from Maidstone in Kent, but he has been living abroad in Sydney since May 2024.

Giorgio is an account manager, but his career has been on the back seat the past few months, as he travelled round South East Asia and moved to Australia.
Who is Giorgio’s famous sibling?
Giorgio is Arsenal and Lioness footballer Alessia Russo’s older brother. He’s four years older than the 26-year-old football sensation. When asked how his sister feels about his Love Island appearance, Giorgio said, "She’s really excited, she watches every year and reckons I can do well, so she’s excited to see how I get on."
This year’s women’s Euro kicks off on 2 July, so Giorgio may not be able to show his support at the matches in person if he is still inside the Love Island villa.
