Who is Love Island's Dejon? Age, Instagram, job and more revealed

Love Island is in full swing after the show returned to screens on 9th June and as part of the original 12 Islanders who entered the Villa, we met Dejon Noel-Williams.

And since entering the Villa, Dejon has caused quite a stir amongst some of the girls, including Meg, who he is currently coupled up with, and new bombshell Malisha who is also interested in getting to know Dejon.

And not one to just sit and watch his clients train, Dejon recently completed his first Hyrox competition, taking part in the recent Barcelona race in a mixed doubles.

Ahead of going into the villa Dejon told ITV he was looking to couple up with someone who is "beautiful on the inside and out, looks after themselves and is healthy."

Who is Dejon's famous dad?

Nepo baby alert! Dejon is the son of famous footballer Gifton Noel-Williams. Gifton has played for teams such as Watford and Real Murcia, before moving into coaching.

Through his dad Dejon is already accustomed to the life of fame Love Island can bring, telling ITV he's already met David Beckham. "My dad being an ex-professional footballer, I’ve met all kinds of famous people through him," he explained. "When I was younger it was weird because he was just my dad, but we’d go to a game and fans were asking for photos. I’ve met David Beckham, he was really nice."

Dejon revealed his dad was very supportive of him entering the Villa, telling Hello!, "He's like my best friend, so he was happy with it. He knows me, he knows my heart. So he has nothing to worry about. He said: 'Just be yourself.'"

However, as for the term 'nepo baby', well despite being one, Dejon has never heard of it before.

"This is the first time I've been called a nepo baby. I don't know how to react!" he told the publication.

And following in his dad's footsteps Dejon has also played football in a number of teams including Oxford United and Slough Town. He's also played for the national team of Grenada.

What has happened with Dejon on Love Island so far?

As part of the OG line-up Dejon has been in the Villa since Day One. He entered the show after Meg chose to couple up with him, based on his dating profile. However, despite picking him, it wasn't exactly smooth sailing between them as Meg initially said she was '50/50' on him after meeting.

This soon changed after the pair got to know each other more and Meg changed her mind and realised she was all for Dejon. The couple shared a kiss on the terrace and Meg chose to recouple with Dejon during the first recoupling ceremony.

However, since then things have gone downhill in their relationship thanks to the arrival of bombshell Malisha. Malisha and Dejon met on the boys' night and she chose him to go on a date with. The pair seemed to really hit it off, much to the disappointment of Meg who was watching the date in real time in the Villa.

When Malisha and Dejon returned to the Villa, Meg was upset with Dejon and told him she felt "disrespected" by him and gave him the cold shoulder. Meg and Malisha then got into it on the first night and it led to Dejon drawing back from Meg the next day.

He started to get to know Malisha more, which irritated Meg, and Dejon said if Meg continued the way she was going it would be over for them. Meg and Dejon appeared to make up but it still could be touch and go as for the future of their relationship.
